i just got out of the theatre and, without mentioning the episode itself

SOCKS IT WAS SO WEIRD ME AND MY FRIEND WERE THE ONLY ADULTS IN THE THEATRE THAT WERENT PARENTS BRINGING THEIR CHILDREN WHY WERE THERE SO MANY CHILDREN

There were a ton of kids at my showing too, though mine was a 1:30 afternoon showing so less surprising.

Idk man a lot of kids like the show.

There was a really little girl with a Gummigoo plush in front of me in the snack line and she was adorable but I was like "man really gotta wonder how this supposedly heavy finale is gonna sit with the literal children"

yeah i was at a 12:30 showing on a Sunday so it makes sense, i just didnt realise that many kids watched it considering its, y'know, not childrens content

but i suppose i also watched my fair share of adult shit as a kid (like family guy/american dad/that sort of stuff) so 🤷
