born and raised in little hollow, life has been surrounded by all things supernatural and as interesting as it is, she’s wanted to live a mundane, normal life.
her family is very traditional in their witchy stuff and she’s always found a lot of the culture questionable despite going along with whatever they wanted her to do.
her family is that rich ass annoying family that act too good for the world and she’s just standing there embarrassed over the way they are
her father is a well-known infamous defense lawyer that a lot of people hate. her mother is fully immersed into witch culture.
her way of stress relief is through painting and art.
parents always berated her of going into law like her father if she doesn’t want her life to be surrounded by the supernatural.
( tbh i kind of imagine her family to be as head ass as the blossom’s and the lodge’s from riverdale )
not wanting them on her case, she’s maintained good grades all the way through high school before lying to them about getting accepted into law school at nyu. instead, she got accepted into their art program.
a year later, they find out and demand she comes back to little hollow, but she refuses to allow them to dictate her life anymore. they cut her off and she finds herself at a loss.
with no means to pay her tuition and hating her shitty part-time job, she resorts to using her magic to fund herself by advertising herself as a spiritual healer. all the rich housewives bought into her little scheme. she rarely had to use her powers for them to buy into whatever she’s saying.
after she graduated from nyu with her painting bachelors degree, she receives a congratulatory bouquet from her family with a card. she gives them a call, hoping they’d want to reconcile and inform her that her mother has fallen ill.
upon hearing the news she travels back to little hollow to see her mother.
once getting there, she realizes it was a lie and her mother was never ill.
her family is just THAT extra and dramatic about wanting her to come visit or see them and hopefully manipulate her to stay in little hollow. ( this became a whole ass meme )
she still flies in between new york and little hollow to make her family happy and to still maintain whatever life she still has back in new york.
