She sets her gaze on the pond. She watches the stream of water pour out of the fountain and then disperse into drops and aggressively bounce across the pond and then calmly ripple into one body of water becoming one. She imagines herself as the body of water. Every lie streaming out of the fountain and dispersing through out her. Every ounce of love ripples across her. Every painful memory hits her and then becomes her. The water remains constant taking in the change and keeping stable. She wishes she could maintain the equilibrium the fountain holds. The fountain does not break and become weak to the lies. The fountain accepts the love and gives it back. The fountain takes the painful memory and moves on.
