The way I've been able to cope with this shitty ass finale is telling myself that this ending was Chuck's ending for the Winchesters. The ending of 15x19 felt super final. I mean they literally killed God. But it felt off? Not the vibes from Supernatural I thought I would get. I've seen a couple of other people say the same, too. So imo everything that has happened since has been Chuck's ending, and they ended the show with what SHOULD HAVE been. I mean Chuck literally tells Cas himself that he wasn't SUPPOSED to have fallen in love with humanity (cough cough Dean cough cough) so ofc the timeline is all out of whack from what Chuck wanted. But after taking away Chuck's powers and making their own destiny, we will never know where it took them because the possibilities are now endless. Idealistic- yes- but the only way I've been able to cope.
