Blaire Richardson

Blaire stepped back a few steps and looked down.  She grabbed her stomach and was having a hard time breathing.  "wh-what do you mean demon?  Like what you just did wasn’t a joke?“  She finally looked up and looked straight into his eyes.  "My mom wasn’t crazy, she might have really been seeing my dad.”  She smiled slightly and looked back down.

“Nope. Not a joke.” James tilted his head and let one of the tables levitate behind her. “He could have been an angel, only people with no good inside of them go to hell. It’s not a nice place to be if you were human once. Heaven on the other hand… from what I hear… rocks.” The table dropped back into it’s original spot. 

She smiled and tears started to slip from her eyes. “I think I should be a little scared right now from all the bad stuff you hear about demons, but I’m so relieved. Thank you!” She then fell to the ground as tears took her over.

She laughed slightly. “You’re right, they suck. It’s like being squeezed all day!”  she smiled at him.  "I can wait though.  So what snacks do you want?“  She opened up a cabinet with every snack imaginable and she opened her mini fridge to show pop, water, and peach tea.

"Damn, you got everything in there.” Jason smiled, standing up and rummaging around in the cabinet. He grabbed a bag of chips and a soda and dropped back down in his chair. “Why do you wanna work here of all places?” He asked, tearing into the chips.

She looked down slowly. “Well my father passed away. My mother was never the same.” She bit her lip from nerves. “She has been hospitalized almost my whole life, but I want to help people from falling into the same circumstance that my mother mentally fell into.” She looked up and lightly smirked.

Blaire smiled and looked around. ”Thank you Jason. I like having a comfortable place to go too. So from now on you’re welcome here anytime!” She looked at her bag on the couch and then down at herself. “This may sound really inappropriate, but would…

Jason shrugged. “It’s fine. Those clothes can’t be comfortable.”

She laughed slightly. "You're right, they suck. It's like being squeezed all day!"  she smiled at him.  "I can wait though.  So what snacks do you want?"  She opened up a cabinet with every snack imaginable and she opened her mini fridge to show pop, water, and peach tea.

"Uh…sure." Jason said, slouching down in the chair and covering his eyes with his hands.

She shook her head. "I'm so sorry! That was a stupid thing to ask. I can wait til after I get off."  She smiled apologetically at young man.

Blaire looked at this young man and winked. “Shall we go find some snacks? I am absolutely starving!” She laughed.

“Sounds good. Lead the way.” Jason told her. <I>What was with that wink? Girls don’t won’t unless they mean something? Right? Or is she just teasing me?

Blaire smiled at him and started walking towards her office.  She actually really liked this young boy.  "Sometimes when the stress level is too much I go to my office and drink red bull and eat junk food.  So I think we can do that just to have fun!"  She finally reached a door with her name on it.  She opened it.  The room was pretty big.  She had a television with movies and a couch.  She also had a bean bag chair.  " Well make yourself at home!"

"Oh I’m sorry to bother you.  I’m your new assigned nurse is what I was told."  Blaire smiled trying to be polite.

“Oh, hello.” he said, smiling at her. “I’m Dr. Anderson Grace. But just call me Dr. Grace or Andy. Both are fine with me.”

She smiled back and her face automatically lit up.  "It's a pleasure to meet you Dr. Grace.  I'm nurse Richardson, or Blaire is fine.  I'm not as comfortable with the nurse part yet."  She laughed and put out her hand to him for a handshake.

Blaire picked up all her bags and papers and started to walk down the hall. She turned into a big corridor and went most of the way down to a door with ‘Nurse Richardson’ on it. She unlocked the door and opened it for Aaron. ”Come on in! It’s still a mess, but I’m not...

"Alright, I can do that." She smiled at him.  She quickly got him a cup of black coffee. She handed to him and then got herself a cup of coffee with dark chocolate creamer in it.  She motioned for him to sit on the small couch in her office.  "So this may sound crazy, but do you believe in the ghost stories here? I mean like demons and angels living here?"

She nodded her head. “I couldn’t agree more.” She smiled at him.  She had very lonely in this new town with  a new job, it would be good to find someone to be around.  ”Let’s go to my office.  I have coffee and every creamer imaginable!” She laughed. “You also met me on the day I baked snacks.”

Blaire picked up all her bags and papers and started to walk down the hall.  She turned into a big corridor and went most of the way down to a door with 'Nurse Richardson' on it.  She unlocked the door and opened it for Aaron.  "Come on in! It's still a mess, but I'm not exactly the neatest person."  She turned to look at Aaron after setting her stuff down. "How would you like your coffee?" She pulled out creamers (almond joy, french vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate, and irish creme) then she pulled out sugar cubes and cups.

"Yeah I didn’t think it would be much different then the last place I worked at, but in one week I’ve found this place has many secrets."  She seemed to shutter and her own words. "Well Aaron would you want to grab a cup of coffee with me?"  Blaire wasn’t shy at all when it came to making friends.

She nodded her head. "I couldn't agree more." She smiled at him.  She had very lonely in this new town with  a new job, it would be good to find someone to be around.  "Let's go to my office.  I have coffee and every creamer imaginable!" She laughed. "You also met me on the day I baked snacks."

Blaire reached into one of her many unpacked boxes and pulled out some pencil crayons. “I knew I had everything!” She put them on her empty desk and pulled out some drawing paper. Then she took out some chips and a bag of many different types of candies. ”Would you want to…

"I’m just trying to make some friends around here." She smiled and then sighed.  She got herself some paper and a pencil.  She started writing and humming very quietly.

"Most staff don’t want to make friends with the patients. Cause it turns into a conflict of interest" Kira said as she started to draw.

Blaire understood what she was talking about. “Yeah, I have trouble separating work from emotions, but if I was like other nurses would you have ever even thought about staying here and drawing with me?” She smiled at Kira.

"No, cause I don’t really like when people see me draw" Kira said looking up at the paper trying to shield it from the nurse.

" Well I don’t mean to offend you. I can go sit on the couch instead. Would that be better?" Blaire was trying to make sure Kira was comfortable.

"Doesn’t matter I just don’t want you seeing what Im drawing" she mumbled as she worked on her drawing

"Well alright. Let me get out of your way then." Blaire got up and went to sit on the couch.  She took her heels off and laid back on the couch.

"I am on my second week of graveyards.  So my mind is kind of getting..(she made a motion).. tired I guess." She always had a smile on her face. She usually never felt uncomfortable, so the security guard made her feel even more safe.

"Yeah I didn't think it would be much different then the last place I worked at, but in one week I've found this place has many secrets."  She seemed to shutter and her own words. "Well Aaron would you want to grab a cup of coffee with me?"  Blaire wasn't shy at all when it came to making friends.
