Ahaha this is strange but! I just wanted to share my newest plunge into a new thing; Minecraft Hardcore. I plan to stream at least once per week on my Twitch, merle_bird, and upload it to the YouTube with the same name!

Mostly, I just want to do this because I rarely see people like me [queer, neurodivergent, stutter-y amongst other things] streaming and doing YouTube anywhere mainstream. I didn’t really have people in my fandoms to look up to; recently, I’ve learned about the Dream SMP and certain people there, like Eret and Karl and Wilbur, who I can relate to in some way, and they’re totally awesome.

But, I was just wondering how many people who are in the DSMP community and MCYT community as a whole who look up to these people but still can’t relate. Who are like me, but don’t have anyone to watch or follow. So I went “well, if I can’t find the content, I’ll make the content.”

If I’m still alive, able, and attached to this by the end of 2021, I’ll blow up my Minecraft hardcore world on stream, regardless of how many people are watching or following.
