The Never Ending Untold Story

“As long as we don’t die, this is gonna be one hell of a story.”

“A bad chapter during childhood was enough to make me believe that my story was a sad one but here I am still waiting for a happy ending.”

“If we’re going to talk, then let’s talk. Forget about what is polite or proper and delve right into what is sincere and honest. Lead me down through the labyrinth of your true, spectacular self. I am not interested in pleasantries. If you want a conversation, then let’s get lost.”

“She said I was her semicolon; to be continued. I think we were a comma, a brief pause because we depended on each other to make sense.”

“But then it passed, as all things do.”

“I hope one day we can forgive each other for not being what we wanted each other to be”

And while I am completely engulfed in my sadness, I am happy to sense that you exist,

“It’s 2:45am and I’m wondering where you are?
But, better yet, I’m wondering why I’m thinking of you at all?
 And, I don’t have an answer for either of them…..”
