On each post, I started reverse google searching each image to find the original creator and credit them in the comments. But I guess they didnt like that and blocked me. Bubbas and Amandas relationship in Omijas comics resembles Jasons and Freddys relationship how it’s often portrait for example. Freddy is the impulsive and quiet nasty part while Jason is the loving and sweet part. Still people ship them and thirst for content about them without screaming abuse! How come?

For the kitten thing…Sooo…It’s ok when the killers/slasher kill people, but not when they murder a cat and kittens? Besides the movies and games there are several comics where brutal murders are shown. Are you forgetting what slashers are about? They kill!

Since I got back into the slasher fandom, I’m really happy about how much it grew and that games like dbd increased the interest in the fandom, but I also noticed over and over again how incredible serious some people take the whole thing. It’s only fiction! Fiction where everyone is allowed to make up anything they want as long as no one gets hurt. I could understand the whole callout post when there would be any child porn or real animals getting abused etc., but only because someone thinks something is gross? No…Live and let live.

first off, you’re acting like drawing child porn is somehow… worse than drawing and condoning incest? fictional or not, i shouldn’t have to explain to you why incest is fucking gross. if you’re getting off to incest you might want to seriously evaluate what kind of person you are. same goes for rape and abuse. despite the fact that it’s fictional, you’re still fetishizing what is a traumatic experience for most people. if you condone this stuff in fiction and think it’s “cute” or “sexy,” please take a step back and think long and hard about why you like it so much, even in fiction.

using freddy/jason as a comparison for bubba and amanda isn’t great lmao. that ship is equally as fucked up and gross. again, i would be fine with omija’s bubba/amanda art if it wasn’t for the fact that most of it is straight of romanticizing abuse (of a mentally impaired man, no less) and rape. people thirst for more of this content because, like i’ve said countless times before, they’re a bunch of freaks like you who hide behind the “it’s just fiction” excuse to jerk off to things that are absolutely fucking disgusting.

as for the hillbilly comic, i don’t necessarily have a problem with drawing slashers killing animals, just as they kill people, HOWEVER, my issue with the comic is that there were no content warnings and a lot of people (myself included) are triggered/disturbed by animal death.

there is no “live and let live” when it comes to this stuff. the romanticization of this content is something that shouldn’t be ignored, because it gives people who think this shit is acceptable to do irl validation. it seriously triggers the victims of things such as abuse, rape, incest, etc. i can’t stop anybody from producing this content, but people who draw/write/otherwise make content regarding this stuff in a romanticizing/fetishizing manner should expect to be met with serious ridicule if they think they have the “right” to do this shit. they should expect to be met with people calling them “freaks” and “gross” because the fact that they can make this content does not change the fact that they are still gross individuals and they really shouldn’t make this type of shit.
