Juudai normally wouldn’t rush for something like that but this time he did make an effort to try to be on time. Though he couldn’t help remembering times he’d get really excited for his birthday as a kid, get ready extra early, only to be disappointed in the end, making all that effort for nothing.

He hoped this time wouldn’t go like that, but it also made him try not to be too early to avoid that same disappointment that he subconsciously associated his readiness with.

He was eager to spend the day with Manjoume this year, even if Manjoume didn’t know what day it was. In fact, that might have been all the better.

He was ready at 18:05 (blame a phone app that distracted him while in the bathroom), but he did decide on a place at least.

“Hmph.”

18:00. Manjoume was ready at the time they’d agreed to meet on the dot, even though his ‘getting ready’ was finding a jacket that was the least wrinkled of the ones he’d owned and had thrown it on. This wasn’t a meet ‘n greet or a televised duel. It was grabbing food with Juudai and Manjoume was convinced he didn’t have to get dressed up as he would for a public meeting or a surprise interview.

Especially when Juudai’s outfit on his walking around the corner, late as always, didn’t look any more tailored than what it normally was. It probably would’ve been too weird if it had been anyway.

Juudai couldn’t have heard the annoyed huff that’d escaped at the hit, but all Manjoume knew was that Juudai better roll faster before he kicked him to the other side of this bed himself—or better yet, straight off into the floor.

“Ah…that hits the spot.” She would relax, letting Chazz’s finger massage seep into her back. He, despite what one might think, had very soft and tender hands, and he knew exactly how to use them to help her feel better. After the large festivity of her coronation earlier that day, she certainly needed it.

“You know Chazzy, there is some great news I can share with you now that we’re alone.” Alexis would comment before taking a bite of her cookies, enjoying the flavors surging through her mouth. “Now that my parents are out of power, we…we can be together without having to worry about being separated by our positions. It’s what we always wanted, right?”

“Yeah, only you didn’t have to tell me for me to realized that. Everyone here should know that much already!” He’d already figured anyway, especially with how quick all the odd glances and weird looks had faded away once the switch in power had been finalized, too. Alexis was Queen and The Chazz was finally being accepted as the one who deserved to be her right hand—just like he’d been harping himself for months.

               ( 👊 )┊OOPS. His body wouldn’t stop trembling, not after accidentally spilling his second cup of soda on “THE” Chazz Princeton. The guy wasn’t as bad as Kacchan but…messing with him what almost the same as bothering Seto Kaiba ! What was he even doing this side of Japan anyway ? ‘Quick Midoriya think !’  

               ❝ I-I’m… ❞ He squeak’d, quickly taking a bow before shouting ❝ PLEASE FORGIVE ME !! ❞ Though…due to his swift movement——the other cup’s lid shot right open; causing the liquid to burst out and soak the duelist yet again. Unaware the U.A. student remained in position, frightened yet, trying to hold his composure.

“Rrgh...!” Saying that it’d taken everything in Chazz not to explode on the kid then and there was definitely an understatement. The second the glass of soda had literally covered the jacket he’d just wash, he could’ve sprung out of his chair and decked the stranger right then.

He didn’t, but the fist he’d had clenched around the set of chop sticks he’d been using definitely could have if Chazz wouldn’t have managed to keep a small shred of his self control by some miracle.
