(Side Note: I am personally very creeped out by snakes and they appear in my dreams A LOT)

🐍 Generally, snakes often symbolize fear and transition when they appear in dreams. The more precise meaning of snakes within a dream depends on where their actions, the dreamer’s feelings about them, and the people involved in the dream.

From a south asian perspective, I know that people in my community are still racist as hell, this is apparent across all generations not just the older ones. But yet some people in my community who have no interest in clamping down on the colorism or the blatant use of the N-slur; are the same morons who get all whiny when a black celebrity, artist or influencer will use their position, skills or money to positively impact the black community.

I’m sorry, I do wholeheartedly believe representation of all POC communities is great, but expecting black people to use their hard earned platform to do that for everyone is bullshit.

Honestly, it’s not my place to say so if I’m being insensitive saying this then do correct me. But i think it’s fair to say people love to love the black community only when it’s beneficial for them.
