“No it kinda is your fault Lux.” Alex barked. “I told you and I warned you to leave Emily alone. You’re just trying to kiss Evie’s ass and look where it got you.” She shook her head. “You never fucking listen to me. And I can’t have you staying here now with that inside you. Not around Izzy..”

“Hey no one asked you to butt into this conversation!” Alex called out as she climbed over Isolde and kissed against her stomach lightly.

Alex stopped in the doorway and turned to face Amelia when she scolded her. All alex wanted to do was protect this family. She feared for the worst if she fell asleep. She sighed, not wanting to argue with Amelia, and slowly made her way back to the bed. She wasn’t happy about it but she would do anything her girls said.

Alex sighed softly at Amelia, knowing she really couldn’t contain her joy, as both her and Alex had talked about children, even before Isolde. “My dad was.. well you know same as usual. Stuck in hiding. Violet came over for a little bit.” She shrugged.

Amelia cleared her throat softly, trying to push down the happiness bubbling up inside of her for the very idea, Isolde now laying with her eyes open as she listened to the two talk. “Oh she did? Was that who the soup on the counter was from?” she wondered, Amelia softly combing her fingers through Alex’s hair. “I’m really sorry that I’m over excitable, it’s just...A baby would be the best Christmas present ever.” she breathed.

“Oh yeah.. right.” Alex nodded at Amelia’s response. “Babe maybe we shouldn’t corner her. We don’t know if she is or not, and I thinking cornering her would make her stress out.” Alex said leaning against the door frame. “I mean if she is, then of course I’m going to be thrilled , but Isolde is stressing about it.”

Amelia gave a sad sigh and nodded, she knew she was getting far too ahead of herself, the brunette looked to Isolde who was pretending to sleep on the bed, the blonde occasionally cracking open an eye to make sure that Alex and Amelia weren’t looking at her, the blonde trying to avoid the subject she was nervous on in any way possible. “I know...I’m sorry” Amelia sighed, before taking Alex’s hand and giving it a squeeze “Was your day good at least?”

“What why? What’s gotten you so chipper?” Alex mused with a smile.

“Well, Isolde told me her concerns and I couldn’t help but get excited. I’m probably getting ahead of myself here. I just need to corner her and get her to take a test” The witch admitted, giving a bright smile “Sorry...I just....I have this need inside of me to be a mom...” she stammered “It’s in my genes, as a witch”

Alex rubbed the back of her neck. “I think it might be safer too, for now.. since that shit that happened at the hospital and my sister going awol. It’s best if we get off the radar for a while.” She added. “I’d feel better knowing I wouldn’t have to check my shoulder every five minutes in case someone was following me.”

“Well.. it wasn’t crazy wobbly.” Alex said with a shrug. “It fizzled out but everything is fine now.” She chuckled nipping at Amelia’s finger. “How was you’re day?” Alex said to Isolde.

Alex laid herself against Amelia’s chest while she ran her fingers into her hair. “For the most part.” Alex mumbled. “Course it’s better now that you two are home..” she smirked. Opening one eyes to look at Izzy.

Alex rolled off the bed and did as Amelia commanded. She opened the red jewelry box that was nearly filled with different rings. “Jesus you weren’t kidding she said, finding a rose quartz gold ring almost immediately. “Here.” She said handing it to Amelia. “this screams her personality.”

“Yeah I know you’ve always been a Daddy’s girl.” She teased and laughed softly peppering kisses all over Amelia playfully. “But sure thing. Sounds like it could be fun.”
