Do you know what memory it is that I most cherish? It’s of your turning to me with that smile once you realized that you were loved. | The World to Come (dir. Mona Fastvold) trailer

Villanelle vs. Oksana Astankova
We’ve been so invested in season 3 Villanelle the past month or so that I, personally forgot just how dark, mysterious and sinister season 1 Villanelle was. She does “hit different.” She was basically emotionless, perfect killing machine, as Dasha called her. There’s still something about S1 Villanelle that I can’t fully understand. In some moments she’s almost… frightening. You never know what to expect, you never know what’s going on inside her head. And now, S3 Villanelle, or more like OKSANA is completely different. She’s overwhelmed with emotions, she’s hurt, she’s becoming sloppy, she’s going through a lot and this is not what we are used to seeing. We’re used to seeing Villanelle interact, Villanelle handle things in her own way without letting anything affect her. Looking at “Villanelle” now… it’s so obvious that’s not her anymore. That persona that Oksana created as her own defense mechanism… it’s gone now. And Jodie being able to pull it off and portray two different people like that just keeps proving to me, and to everybody else just how insanely talented of an actress she is and it’s difficult to comprehend the fact that she and Villanelle are the same person… let alone having Villanelle and Oksana being completely different as well. You don’t get to see such complex characters often so when you do… and especially when such characters are portrayed by extremely skilled actors, it just brings everything to another level. The depth of the character, the way we view it, it’s effect on us and each time Villanelle/Oksana is on screen we are rooting for her, we cry with her, we laugh with her… this is what top class ACTING looks like, the performances worth ALL the awards possible. Villanelle already brought BAFTA and Emmy to Jodie and I’m pretty sure she will get her SECOND Emmy soon because each single episode, she keeps delivering and knowing just how huge this season is for personal character growth makes us appreciate her hard work even more. I feel extremely lucky that Jodie ended up auditioning for Villanelle and joining Killing Eve cast because it was definitely one of her best decisions she has ever made and we are BLESSED to have all this incredible content coming from her hard work, determination and talent. Jodie Comer, we are insanely grateful for your work, we are here to fully support you and we will be there to watch you grow even more and succeed in your career path. Now let’s appreciate and support Villanelle/Oksana during the next two remaining episodes and wait for Jodie’s second Emmy!!
