I think why I love people talking about their romantic relationships is because if you're at all similar to me you probably at one point thought a romantic relationship would be an impossible feat for you. Like no way could someone ever witness you and choose to grow with you and definitely you could never see yourself feeling courageous enough to articulate your messy internal world well enough, and especially to someone that would listen with interest, with care. Ofc our society puts a lot of pressure on the idea and it can feel "oversaturated" and therefore unimportant, but I am proud of the relationship I've played a part in facilitating and I've learned so much from putting myself out there w someone who was waiting (for the right reasons) for me to do just that. I can also acknowledge the drastic change in my partner over the past few years, how much more he smiles these days and how different life feels in general when you know there's at least one person out there who you can trust and lean on who doesn't "have" to be there but always is

For the last time. A bear is a FAT hairy man. FAT. FAT. Say it with me because it's not a bad word. Bears are fat men. Stop showing me dehydrated and muscular hairy white men. That is not a bear. That is some generic white guy I don't want to look at. Give me real bears or give me death.
