Meet Silas Adekunle. He is a Nigerian Inventor/Robotics Engineer that currently the FOUNDER/CEO of Reach Robotics, a company developing the world's first gaming robots. Silas was born in Nigeria and moved to the UK at about 11 years old. He spent much of his childhood obsessed with science and technology, playing with Lego robot kits and watching YouTube videos to get ideas for simple robots he could build himself at home. Now at age 27 he was able to found a robotics company that has raised $10 Million in funding. Apple Inc. were impressed enough to sign Silas' company Reach Robotics to an exclusive distribution deal. Apple now sells the robots at $250 a pop. The initial launch of Mekamon Gaming Robots sold 500 bots, generating $7.5 million. Leonidas Harris Berry (July 20, 1902 – December 4, 1995) was an African American & pioneer in gastroscopy & endoscopy. He served as the president of the National Medical Association from 1965-1966. After graduating from Wilberforce University (1924), moved to Chicago where he received a 2nd B.S. degree from the University of Chicago, followed by a M.D. degree from the Rush Medical College of the University. Also received a M.S. degree in Pathology from the University of Illinois Medical School (1933). Awards: Rudolph Schindler Award 1977 from the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Distinguished Service Award from the National Medical Association. 1st Annual Clinical Achievement Award from the American College of Gastroenterology. Freedom Award for Public Service from the Chicago Chapter of the NAACP.
