i have no basis for thus theory outside of recalling very little details of the twins’ lore thus far…but what if the abyss sibling is simply an implanted memory in the traveler’s mind but neither they nor the abyss twin are aware of that fact? im sure im missing some details about why exactly the abyss twin’s existence and memories are recorded in the irminsul tree but not the travelers…but what if it’s literally because they ARE in fact a “creation” of teyvat that acts as catalyst of the travelers “fate” (something if i remember correctly they cannot be tied to becstse they are a descender and do not have their fate controlled or predestined)
