It’s been 5 days but my memory ain’t too bad, aight?

Ok what else do I remember.. Lory walked into the stage first. The crowd screamed I love you Lory, and he said I love you too. It was Lory, Rob, and then lastly Eoin. It wasn’t raining in the beginning.. drizzling at most Well then the storm started around Nothing.. and it was just pouring and pouring and I just took off my poncho it wasn’t doing anything but adding more heat. Completely soaked after the gig but totally worth it.

Anyways, ok, it was a fucking shame.. why no spotlight on Rob? Ok he is not an official band member but he is a regular session member and has been touring together since last year. That was just mean. It’s not like he is one of the 7 session members.. just one more light would do. ugh.

No other comment from members till before playing we can do what we want. I believe Lory mentioned the next song is from our new album or something like that... Then before playing I wanna break you in half, Lory was like ‘this song is about breaking people in half’ in a really sweet way and my friend thought it was a song about break ups then I told her it’s about breaking people in half literally...

There was a small banter between Lory and Eoin about how Eoin doesn’t say anything but I can’t specify exactly when it was.. They didn’t say much.. I wonder if they didn’t expect us to understand English or usually don’t talk much during gigs. hmm

Maybe it was just me but they seemed super excited.... well I was going crazy in the tropical storm too. I remember one of the staffs filming the crowd so I guess the crowd wasn’t too dull? but ok SHAME ON YOU, CJ how dare you give them a 2:50 am spot? No one should ever have to perform that late. for god’s sake..especially Eoin had to sing. at 3 am. What is up with this??!?!?!

Eoin came down from the stage.. but then again can’t remember exactly which song. He came all the way to the fence and then later rubbing the guitar strings against the speakers lol totally crazy. Hearing them live was ecstatic and my memory went blur after few songs. I just jumping around like a maniac until my knees hurt. Eoin was excited. I could tell that. Same for Lory based on his playing during Let’s pretend. Well Rob.. I couldn’t really observe his facial expression but I guess he was too? 

I was happy, they were happy, which made me super happy I was so worried that I was gonna be the only person watching them perform but then there were few other fanatics like me.. so it was good

Well. that is a crazy understatement. It was one of my most victorious, gracious, amazing nights that I will recall on my death bed. When will I get to see them live again? T_T

Well it was supposed to be a 40 minutes set but I think it ended up to be 50 minutes long from like 2:55am till 3:45am. I had to run like crazy in the rain to catch the 4am shuttle back home but omg. worth it. 35 mosquito bites on my legs (which look kind disgusting now) worth it. 16 hours of standing in the rain waiting for the gig. worth it. ticket price. worth it. every hardship and insane glastonbury-level muddy ground. worth it.
