The Black Cat landed on a balcony at Bedford Towers. She was looking for Spider-Man. Entering the apartment, she found it empty.
āNo furniture? Heās moved out?! Blast!ā
She thought to herself.
@venomouscorrupter
With the Symbioteās unnatural speed and reflexes, Venom tore up the stairs of Parker and Mary Janeās apartment building, Bedford Towers. Rage coursing through their veins, like their namesake. Two beings dwelling together, each with a hatred for the one named Parker, and his guise ofĀ āSpider-Manā. Theyād had toĀ bide their time for long enough⦠waited for too long. Frightening Parkerās redheaded fiance had sated them for awhile⦠but now it wasnāt enough. The dark deceiver Spider-Man would pay for what he had done to them both. No more playing quiet.
At the sight of him other occupants of the apartments screamed and fled back into their homes, or froze, petrified. He passed them all, in spite of the temptation to tear them apart. They were but stupid bystanders in the wrong place at the wrong time⦠there was no need to vent any of the wrath on them that belonged to Parker. Reaching the door of the apartment, Venom didnāt bother knocking or using the handle. With one thrust of a bulky arm they tore the door off itās hinges, reducing it to various sized splinters that landed all over the floor of the apartment within.Ā
The hulking, menacing alien oozed through the doorway slickly, filling it up entirely⦠white eyes narrowing and scanning the interior. Sensing neither Parker or his fiance were present⦠and seeing that the place had been abandoned. They released a growl of frustration, saliva oozing ravenously from their maw⦠when they registered a figure they hadnāt noticed in their rage. Off in the corner of the main room. An attractive, shapely young woman with long white blonde hair⦠a fur trimmed, tight black catsuit⦠and small domino mask.Ā Striking green eyes.Ā
Eddie knew of her from his career working in the papers and gossip rags. The Black Cat, an infamous jewel thief⦠and a known consort of the Spider-Man. Probably having an affair with him behind Mary Janeās back. Of course she would be here⦠she must have known where he had fled their wraith. They took another step into the apartment towards her, giant, clawed hand clenching and flexing⦠eyes not moving off her. Inhumanly muscled body rippling and pulsating. An angry, distorted, dark, alien voice emerging from their gaping maw of razor teeth that were clenching open and shut.
āWhere is he?! Parker has fled his lair⦠but you⦠little kitty cat. You know where he is. Tell us, and we may allow you to keep that pretty face.ā
āWhere is he?!ā
The platinum blonde haired thief was startled. She turned to see who, or perhaps in this case, what had spoken. What she saw was a hulking, black beast. The creature looked like a twisted version of Spider-Man himself. It was as if Spideyās sexy (in her opinion) black suit had come to life.
Upon seeing the beast, Black Cat gasped in terror, and brought a hand to her mouth. It continued to speak, its voice alien and menacing.
āParker has fled his lair⦠but you⦠little kitty cat⦠you know where he is⦠tell us, and we may allow you to keep that pretty face.ā
As frightening as the beast looked, the Black Cat was not so easily tamed. The creature certainly seemed fierce, but so was she. Furthermore, it had threatened her, and she did not take threats kindly.
Removing her hand from her mouth, she took a cat-like fighting stance, and glared at the beast.
āIām not telling you a thing, ugly!ā
She then ran towards the creature and jumped in the air, throwing a kick.
She moved faster than many humans did⦠well trained, this one. And why shouldnāt she be, as a nimble professional cat burglar? A gymnast, perhaps. Still⦠she moved slow, too slow, compared to their otherworldly reflexes, supplemented by the powers they had replicated from Parker. As the blonde flew through the air towards them, they spun off to the side out of her way in time. Hulking form revolving around to face her. Venom began to pace around the apartment like a caged animal, circling around the shapely young woman. They couldnāt deny a strange, growing intrigue, aboutĀ her⦠in spite of her connection to Parker. Or perhaps because of it. It was then he recognized what it was⦠remembered in a flash.
āWas I really so ugly to you, that night?ā
It was familiarity. Looking into those green eyes the Symbiote remembered her from before, then⦠her familiar, enticing touch⦠when it had shared Parkerās body. When they had kissed her. More than kissing. Her taste. The heat. A hunger that had not been for food. Pleasure and desire humans felt. Alien to it⦠but⦠enticing. It knew her⦠while she was a stranger to Eddie, save the stories and reports about her in the paper. Regardless, it sensed Eddieās shared interest⦠and they both remained focused on her. At last itās silky, alien voice spoke again, prehensileĀ tongue emerging from itās maw and flickering about. Saliva running freely from the appendage.
āOh⦠you shall tell us, little kitty. Itās just a matter of how much pain you desire of us. Perhaps something more⦠again. I remember you, now. That rooftop. You know the one. One of many. When Parker and I were bonded.ā
At the last moment, the black creature moved out of the way of her kick. Black Cat landed on her feet, and quickly turned around to face the beast, her gloved claws at the ready.
Felicia Hardy stood tense as the beast began to circle her. It was frightening how fast it had moved for such a large being, but the Black Catās spirit was undeterred.
She kept her eyes trained on the beast, and continuously adjusted her stance to keep the creature in front of her.
Then, it spoke once again.
āOh⦠you shall tell us, little kitty. Itās just a matter of how much pain you desire from us. Perhaps something more⦠again. I remember you, now. That rooftop. You know the one. One of many. When Parker and I were bonded.ā
After a moment, Black Catās eyes widened.
āWhen Parker and you were⦠bonded?? Are you Spider-Manās costume?!ā
She asked, remembering that Peter had told her about his previous black number being a living alien.
āI was never a ācostumeā, little kitty cat. I am a Symbiote, over six hundred million years old⦠I have endured eons, watched planets and civilizations rise and fall. Possessed many thousands of forms through time and space. You are nothing, next to me. ā
Venom returned to the catsuit clad young woman at last⦠maw of teeth jagged grinning wider at her alarm. Her realization. It continued to circle her, in no particular hurry. She wasnāt going anywhere, and neither were they. She would speak though, tell them what they wished to know, one way or another. It didnāt mean they couldnāt have some fun with her first. Their large white eyes studied the attractive blonde⦠her shapely form. It felt Eddieās desire for her⦠or perhaps it was itās own. It did not matter. It drew closer to her with each rotation, shadow falling over her form, as itās reverberating, silky alien voice emerged again from itās maw. Along with itās tongue, saliva flowing freely over razor teeth.
āNow I have found another to share my power with, far better than Parker. Who shares my hatred of him. We will deal with Parker soon enough⦠once you tell us where he has fled. He will pay for what he has done⦠and you shall suffer with him if you delay us.ā
The Black Cat listened in horror as the creature told her itās origins. It was becoming more and more clear that this āSymbioteā was more than she could handle.
āNow I have found another to share my power with, far better than Parker. Who shares my hatred of him. We will deal with Parker soon enough... once you tell us where he has fled. He will pay for what he has done... and you shall suffer with him if you delay us.ā
A chill ran down the normally confident womanās spine as the monster threatened her. But it would take more than threats to tame her.
āI told you. Iām not telling you a thing.ā She said with a glare.
Extending claws from one of her white gloved hands, she lunged at the beast.
