“Yeah okay but why do you have wings? Are they real?”  Sure, Noctis knew it was a bit rude– okay a lot rude– But it was obvious that he was something very… different. OOH!– “Are you an Astral?” He’d never met one aside from Carbuncle that didn’t want to try to eat him for breakfast if he couldn’t immediately prove his merit. A beat.  “Uh… are you. Gonna test me? ‘Cause. I really wanna get some coffee first. If that’s cool.”

          “ ....sure kid, let’s just go with that. “

   angel, astral-- every culture && world had different terms for the same thing. at least, he’s mostly sure its the same thing in this situation. something higher than mortals blah blah blah... would there ever be a place where people wouldn’t idolize?

   he can give the guy props for not acting like it’s the end of the world because his feathers happened to be black, though.

   hands came to rest upon hips, eyes narrowing just ever so slightly. oh great, he got one of the starers. not that koraki should be even surprised anymore-- he had yet to find a place that was even remotely used to the presence of winged beings.

          “ keep up that look && your jaw might touch             the dirt. didn’t anyone tell you its rude to             stare at strangers? “

          “ οι άντρες δεν θα πάψει να κοιτάζει. “

          “ you still never ended up explaining the deal             with that key, y’know. “

   limbs reach out to soothe tense muscles in a stretch, feathers lifting from  their resting position ever so slightly && briefly creating the illusion that his wings were far thicker than they actually were. it had been how long since that day they met? creatures unlike anything from the troops that swarmed the underworld in troves-- creatures that were only felled by an odd shaped weapon ( && that’s saying something with the arsenal he remembers seeing lined in the amories ). 

   koraki had only briefly lingered after that encounter, but within the past few days he had become increasingly intrigued to figure out the mechanics of that world he had stumbled into.. && that boy with the key.
