this is something that I think a lot of people don't understand abt adhd. and like. this shit can get scary, especially if it happens often. I hate that I can't remember what I'm doing for the entire time it takes me to do it. I hate having to pause in the middle of conversations to desperately attempt to re-trace my train of thought because I don't remember what we're talking about. like. if you don't have adhd. just try to imagine what it's like to be unable to carry out a full conversation. try to imagine your memory resetting at random intervals. what are you doing right now? do you know? because often times, I fucking Forget. in the middle of doing things. and then I'm just standing there like an idiot desperately trying to wave away the thick fog that exists in my brain 24/7. and sometimes that shit just doesn't work. and I forget for good. it's terrifying. to me, at least.

It's incredible how people have been protesting pants and skirts not having pockets but not a single peep is heard over the fact that skirts no longer have underskirts by default. Underskirts (or lining) was a thing when I was a child, no skirt would be made without lining, you didn't have to think and check if your whole ass is visible in a skirt because lining was a thing!!!! Now most skirts don't and it's simply because it's cheaper, fuck the fact that a customer doesn't want their panties shown in broad daylight, it saves a couple of cents on material.

i feel weird commenting on "high T cis woman in sports is the subject of transphobic attacks" type incidents because like, its just racism, right? there's barely any transphobia left in the picture

i haven't looked into it, didn't confirm if the "trans" athlete even had high testosterone, afaik she just had abnormal karyotype, but the mechanics of logan paul looking at a photo of this algerian woman for 1 second and saying "that's a man" is def more racist than it is transphobic, right?

its definitely not a case of "ooh, those silly transphobes have accidentally struck a woman they'd consider normal as collateral" because they also don't think women of color are full women i think, like it's not just us

@patricia-taxxon, sit down. "There's barely any transphobia left in it" is not the rock-solid position you think it is. Yes, there is an element of racism present; but this woman's medical records and childhood pictures were dragged out into the public eye and her private genetic information was plastered online JUST so people would stop calling her trans. There are STILL people online questioning her gender, even after it's been confirmed that she's a woman. You absolutely get to argue for the racism within this conflict, but you have no right to pretend that there's "no transphobia left" when the immediate backlash was "obviously she's a man and the Olympics let a man compete and she needs to prove she's not a man." The transphobia doesn't just go away. Sorry.

What pisses me off is that BS "well, what?! We can't ask QUESTIONS?!?" Because they DIDN'T ASK!! NOBODY stopped to go "hey, what's up?" and NOBODY waited for a fact-checked answer!! They immediately jumped to "my buddy's buddy says she's trans so she's trans and now I'm PISSED!!!" I LITERALLY saw a post (yes it was on FB, are we surprised?) that said "FUCK the Olympic Wrestling Committee!!!" And then that person didn't respond to a single comment telling him he was wrong. Yes, it's okay to ask questions to seek education. And maybe if more people had done that instead of immediately bullying a woman who didn't fit their mental images, we wouldn't be in this mess!! But also yeah, it's hilarious that the dude who had to cheat so the world would believe he was good at Bike thinks he's in any position to question the validity of a naturally gifted athlete.
