Black-Nocturne's Art

Those Posca pens came in the September Scrawlrbox. The rumors are true - they really draw on any surface and don't bleed through paper! So far two folders and a cup fell victim to my desire to draw. What's gonna be next? >:)

Painted with acrylics that came in the august ScrawlrBox. I'm behind on drawing those Scrawlr challenges, but it's ok, 'cause ScrawlrBox is behind on sending me the boxes too. I couldn't do small details with those paints, I had to add a black liner that wasn't included in the box to draw that lineart, so I guess I've failed the challenge. But at least the picture looks better that way.

My second attempt to draw something with May ScrawlrBox supplies (the first one has somewhat failed). I've always had problems with charcoal, as it's so hard to control. I love the toned paper and the white pencil though! It lets you not only go from white paper to darker values like you usually do, but from mid tones to lighter values. Also big thanks to ScrawlrBox for sending me a pencil sharpener suitable for those watercolor pencils from the April box that don't fit into my regular sharpeners.
