Graves gets attacked in the graveyard one miserable day, but through sheer home turf advantage she apprehends her attacker. A.K.A the Drifter. Which leads to the lich telling her they need him to train her for the ritual. Que Graves threatening his life and eventually forming a pact that he has to help her and isn’t allowed to kill or maim her, in exchange she doesn’t kill him to death right there. Which Drifter only agrees to since he thinks it was an unfair fight anyway. Training her for the ritual on the side of the Hidden King.

Apollo has been nothing but nerves thinking of the ritual. He needs to train as he stays at the Baroness. Finding everything about it confusing as he conducts research on top of his new schooly duties. Doorman is always happy to lend a guest a helping hand and a listening ear. Guiding subtly Apollo into how best prepare for the Ritual. On the side of the Archmother.

How weird is it through helping a pair of teens two immortal entities have found themself at an oddly parental stage of their existences.

Que insane rivalries, divorce esque banter, found family, first time crushes, and a lab report due all leading up to the Malestrom.

I have this vision of Doormina in my head where The Doorman with all his future seeing potential genuinely doesn’t see Mina being viscount, hell he doesn’t see her even being successful. Not even gracing some tabloid cover aside from scandal. So when Mina through ambition alone gets on the front page of a magazine she was never meant to with her designs and her drive, he genuinely is so startled by her intensity to change fate that he becomes utterly transfixed by her.

Mina has eyes and can see his form is pretty and he isn’t super annoying and is somewhaaaat helpful so sure he can tag alone she guesses.

Mina design!

Inspired by these Winter 1952 looks

Even if deadlock is set in 1949 I think Mina would be ahead of the trends for her own fashion, cutting edge if you will.

These flared skirt patterns (from Etsy lol) inspired the end, I think Mina likes a unique and strong silhouette :D the boots aren’t the most time period accurate but I think her thigh high ones are more egregious in that way so I settled for it
