You ran through every door, and now you're here. Three versions of Jax sat at a table playing cards, another one at a piano. They all turned to smoke, but not before the Jax at the piano gave you a key.

Jax stands there, under a small streetlight. He's looking away from you, but you can hear small sobs. You have to help him. After everything, you need to at least try.

You run towards him, throwing yourself forward and hugging him. Everything stops for a moment. He's tense and for a moment, you think you should pull away, but then he turns and hugs you back.

"I don't wanna go."

You pull back and you both just stare at one another. He's not smiling, not saying some stupid joke, not pushing you away. He's scared, hurting.

You two hold one another, crying softly. Then he kisses you. He kisses you like he'll never see you again, and maybe he won't. No words are said after, just soft crying.

Then you're pulled out, away from him. You meet the eyes of your friends looking down at you.

A tent is built and Jax is put inside. He may have abstracted, but you still care about him. Maybe there's a way to bring him back. You have time to figure things out. You'll get him back.

Pomni told him it was how people show "love." Touching, holding hands, kissing, being there for each other. He doesn't understand it, but he can't help but realize maybe he looks at you that way.

You were always kind to him, even when he was so horrible to you all. You always smiled at him, always encouraged him, always asked about adventures. He didn't realize it, didn't even know what the feeling in his chest was, but looking at Zooble and Gangle, he thinks maybe he wants that, too.

Caine has worked hard to earn forgiveness. After everything he did, he knew it would take a long time for everyone to trust him. But he's here now, learning from you all what it takes to be "human."
