While I’m only going to be just down the road, it was odd to think I won’t be coming back to Prospect Hill after this weekend. So much has happened over the last five years and I couldn’t be more thankful to have called this place home since October 2013. This house, the monument, Union Square and Somerville overall have given me a sense of community and home that I was never able to find on the other side of the Charles, and sharing that with friends and family has been amazing. I’ve had the privilege of living with 4 fantastic individuals over my tenure here, and one of them ended up being the love of my life. The (aptly named) Union Flag on top of the monument had always held significance to me in a historical sense but it was made even more so when @__omdavies and I got together. I will never forget this place and what it means to me, and I hope to visit regularly.
