As maternity leave draws to an end, it suddenly occurs to me I’m not going to dine out with my little one as frequently 😔 time to get em’ in whilst I can 🍽️

The time had arrived to celebrate my little bubbas 1st birthday! I honestly don’t know where the year went! To celebrate we went to the most awesome family friendly bar, restaurant and screening room in St Albans called The Hub On Verulam where we ordered Belle her first kids meal! @thehubonverulam #allgrownup

After trekking round Finsbury Park for a restaurant that welcomed buggies, Someday’s Taco Tuesday brought a smile to my face. Half price tacos and a huge open plan dining space where I could easily wheel the buggy about to rock little day to sleep! Happy days! Totally recommend for mamas!

After trying out a whole bumch of baby classes, I was ready to try something different. Bring Your Own Baby Comedy is exactly that, offering a hilarious mix of live stand up comedians (this time located at Finsbury Park’s Picturehouse) with soft play mats laid out and a baby changing station literally on the stage, its the perfect place for babies to crawl, feed and if they feel so inclined, even storm the stage!

With all this hot weather, it felt like the perfect excuse to take over a boat for the day. Even with an 11 month old and a high chair in tow it made for a percect weekend activity!

Having worked for many years in movies, it’s been at the top of my to-do list to visit a baby cinema since I first found out I was pregnant. The Barbican centre has showings every Sat-Mon and is the perfect place to stroll around and take in a little free culture. The best surprise was a little basket of nappies and wet wipes, the perfect place for mummy’s to relax!

When your trip draws to an end and real life is just around the corner, how do you avoid the holiday blues?

As a self confessed massive foodie i’m always most excited upon arrival to check out the food options wherever i’m staying, all inclusive buffet spreads, pool bars and local restaurants galore. Now with Isabelle in tow, nowhere’s safe from food getting chucked in all directions and best of all, no washing up!
