As someone who’s been a FNAF fan since 2014, some of you guys need to chill out. Stop hounding steel wool/scott to make new games/ content. 

I feel like a lot of people in this fandom don’t realize how much time it actually takes in order to make a proper game or honestly even a trailer, and it only feels like people have gotten less and less patient overtime. Fnaf has changed a lot from its original release, though the original point and click style has it’s own complexities to it, it’s not like what steel wool is doing now with 3D models, large walkable environments, etc. Those 3D games take way more time and cannot just be pumped out within the matter of months like the original games were.

Also, people need to be more respectful of the developers at Steelwool. They work their butts off to give us good, fun content, and it feels like most of the time, the fan base instead of appreciating what they got nitpicks it half to death.

I’m not saying you have to agree with every single move the franchise makes, as I, a long-term fan have some issues with things, but that doesn’t give you or me any right to be rude to the people that are trying their best to give you something new.

If this toxicity in the fan base keeps up, honestly, it is going to kill the already struggling franchise of five nights at Freddy’s. It’s only gotten worse as the years have gone by and it’s going to reach a boiling point eventually.

This genuinely breaks my heart as five nights at Freddy’s has been a special interest for me since 2014, but it needs to be said. I am convinced that the death of this franchise will be it’s fans unless a massive shift happens and people learn how to be respectful again.
