i still get surprised that connor and hudson are still being mentioned by the industry, and not just for heated rivalry, but as actors with individual careers. what do you mean that seeing the path both of them have taken and how they deal with fame made you want to follow in their steps? what do you mean that their quick rise to fame has inspired you? what do you mean that no one is doing it like them? these past few weeks i've seen this kind of conversations happening with actors who have been established in the industry for years... as well as new actors who feel inspired seeing their first steps in the industry, and woahhhhh
i'll never understand people who worry about their careers; they already have their place in the industry, and nothing can move them from there, the same goes for this 'competition' of seeing who is better than the other according to their own fans. both are doing amazing, and it's stupid to deny it, just as it's stupid to believe they're better than actors with many more years of experience... not even a year has passed, and although i do think they still have a lot to do and a lot to work on (as everything in life), it makes me feel calm that people already respect them for the actors they are.
it makes me think of hudson talking about (before hr) how he didn't care about fame, his dream was to be recognized and respected by the industry, and i think both of them have achieved that :)
