It depends what you mean by self conscious, as in conscious about letting the piercer see your nipples/boobs?
In which case you have to remember that professional piercers and tattooists see many different body parts every day, in all shapes and sizes. They’re not going to sit there and judge you on how you look!
Unless you meant self conscious about your boobs in general, in which case why not get a sexy piercing to make you feel better about yourself?
I’m sure you’re a beautiful human being, and if you want to get pierced just go for it! They won’t judge you, it’s their jobs.

I might add that if you are under 18, there is no professional studio that will pierce you. I’d wait.

Once again professionalism is a thing. You could get it done with no ID and sterilization of needles and jewelry when you are younger. But i really feel like a professional wouldnt. Most APP members wont.
But you can get it done professionally in a piercing studio at 16 in the UK, done by professional piercers... If its legal they will do it for you. A piercer can choose not to do it if they wish but at the end of the day if you're of a legal age there's no reason why it wont be done to a professional standard
