my fav little anecdote from mania was pete talking about how he’d drive to patrick’s house to pick him up and then they’d go to the studio together <3 like patrick CAN drive and they’re both millionaires that can afford taking ubers everyday and driving anywhere in LA takes 40 mins (plus you want to die the whole time) but he still drove to his house to pick him up everyday like old times <3

pretty pout when you bottom out is genuinely an insane lyric. even moreso if youre a band who has been plagued by homo allegations between 2 of your members since your bands conception.

they hide behind each other. they speak through and for each other. they are so synchronised and so in tune with each other that they’re functionally one person. they are each other’s artistic purpose. their connection to one another is strong enough that it withstood being broken was and rebuilt even stronger. outside of their families they are the most important people in each other’s lives. neither of them would have the lives that they do or make the art that they make without the direct influence of the other. they’re literally written in the stars ‘i’m a big believer in the universe giving you what you need’ no bullshit self-described soulmates. if you care at all
