(prev) When Amy threatened Bowtie’s brother he froze. After a moment he gently sat his plate on the ground, stormed over to the bars, and gave her the fiercest glare she’s seen yet. “It’s all pointless,” Bowtie growled. “I’ll be sending you to the same hell as that piece of shit.”
Amy just had to get back up and go to the bars to soak in the glare Bowtie was giving her.
“Oooh I’m so scared! Don’t make me go hang out with my bestie in hell! What a terrible fate!” Amy taunted with an overly sarcastic tone.
Then she sneered as she growled back, “In your fuckin’ dreams anyway, dorkwad. After I snap your bones like twigs I’ll cave your big ugly head in.”

(prev) When Amy likened Bowtie to Rodney he let out a scoff. That incompetent idiot could never replace him. Hell, nobody could replace him unless Mike managed to recruit another partner in crime. Which… may actually happen if he managed to recover his sister’s memories. He held back a sigh. No wonder he hunted him down. Then Bowtie stiffened at Billy’s name. Amy was completely wrong about Mike’s need for a lackey. But the Glornch needed a tailor. They already knew how to sew minor alterations by hand and were competent enough to learn the rest from guides. It was time to disarm Amy’s ammunition. In hindsight, they were never any more than collaborators. Teddy gripped his silverware in tight fists and continued to glower at his food as he finally spoke up. “Look, you’re misunderstanding the nature our relationship: Its always been transactional.” Bowtie dismissively shrugged before continuing. “Sure, we’ve figured that we may as well have some fun while we’re at it. Yet I never gave a damn about him and certainly don’t expect any different in return.”
A grin that Bowtie couldn’t see crept across Amy’s face when she got him to respond.
“Uh-huh. So it’ll be pointless to go after him again unless he tries to get back at me. Good to know. Who else is there?”
After a short beat of thinking, she started back up, “Your brother, definitely. I’ll finish what Sam started. His dumpy wife, too. You don’t seem to have a lot of friends other than that, though. Oh wait! That nerd bitch with the goo gun! I’ll track her down. Alright.”
Satisfied with her hitlist, Amy sat back down to finish the rest of her meal.

(prev) Bowtie continued to eat in his corner, with his back towards Amy, as if she never opened her big mouth.
After letting the silence linger for a few seconds, Amy started back up.
“One thing I know for sure is that he won’t give a damn when I kill you. It’s cute how you think you’re any more specialer to that self-serving prick than Rodney. Well, if anything, he’d probably be annoyed having to find another little lackey so he won’t have to fall back on Rod. My money is on Billy. She’s competent enough, and insecure. Pretty good replacement.”

(prev) “At eight, please,” Theodore said as he shook his head. He kept an equally close ear on Autumn while he headed into the torture room. It was a relatively quick bathroom trip aside from refilling his water bottles. After a bit he knocked again. Then he silently returned to his cell.
While waiting for Theodore, Autumn went to go check up on Amy. They were surprised at how quiet she had been. They thought for sure she would’ve piped up at some point when Rodney and Theodore were bickering, or when he was questioning Autumn if anyone had asked about him, especially when the topic of Sam was hinted at. But no, Amy was quietly eating her lasagna.
Afterwards, once they had brought Theodore back to his cell, Autumn announced, “Well, I’ll be back later,” before taking her leave.Â
It was then that Amy walked up to her cell bars, made sure she heard no sign of Autumn, and abruptly posed a question to Bowtie.
“Say theoretically that someone murdered Mike. How upset would you be?”

(prev) Theodore’s shoulders sunk as he stuffed his hands in his pockets, nodded, and averted his eye. Nothing good would come from trying to justify himself. Especially not when Autumn may or may not have heard him boost to Rodney about how easy Sam’s (legal) murder trial was. After a long, awkward silence settled between them he asked, “May I please use the bathroom?”
Autumn was about to leave again until Theodore asked to use the bathroom.Â
“Oh, sure,” she said as she moved to unlock the cell door, making sure to not take their eye off of Theodore for too long all the while. As they led him to the torture room, they asked in a hushed voice, “Want me to bring your meds now too?”

Bow tie loudly laughed, although it sounded more like an asthma attack. He managed to get it under control just long enough to shout after Rodney, “Tell Mike that!” This was the best Bowtie had felt since he got thrown in this cell. He tried to hold onto that feeling but when he saw Autumn he felt rather childish. And Amy would certainly make fun of him later... By the time Autumn made it to Bowtie his grin was faint. He accepted his water with an obligatory, “Thank you,” before taking a big swig. Then he twisted the cap back on and sheepishly rubbed his head. “Has anyone asked about me?”
Autumn was about to leave before Theodore’s question stopped them.
“Well..,” she started, seemingly thinking about her answer. “I’ve heard some passing curiosity about your whereabouts here and there. With your capture, people have been asking Bishop Percival about where you were…” She put her hands in their pockets. “Why you were there. Stuff like that.”

(prev) Bowtie had started to lean back before defiantly glaring at Rodney and shoving him away instead. Then he put up his dukes in an attempt to intimidate him out of trying again. “I clearly heard him say to meet us at Fishing Planet at the crack of dawn.” He paused to check his expression. “We had a training session on the Skullship instead.”
Rodney stumbled back when he was pushed away, but found his footing. As defiant as he wanted to be, he couldn't help but be brought down by what he heard.Â
“T-training? With Mike…?” Rodney clenched his eye shut. Every time he asked Mike for fighting or self defense lessons, he was always seemingly busy or had some sort of other excuse. Maybe… Bowtie was right…
“...D’oh!! I shoulda known fishing at dawn didn’t make sense for a boys’ night!” He took off running toward the dungeon exit, shouting, “Fuck youuuu!”
Rodney passed Autumn as they made their way back down the stairs. Truthfully, they swiped waters from the minifridge in the reverend quarters’ lounge, so she didn’t need to travel very far. That allowed her to perch at the top of the stairs to listen to the bickering about Mike echo from the dungeon.
Autumn delivered a water to Amy, then one to Theodore. They didn’t have anything to say, though they did wear a small grin.

(prev) Bowtie snickered at Rodney’s severely out-of-touch rambling. He was about to ask if Mike had ever actually told him that when Rodney attacked first. “Having Glornists visit wouldn’t help my case,” Bowtie simply said. “And I just got here, Rodney. I’ll ask Autumn about it.” He paused to listen for any signs of Autumn’s return. Then he asked, “Do you remember when you asked to come to boys’ night and Mike gave you false information? I didn’t have a hand in that.”
Rodney shot Bowtie a deadly glare. He took in a sharp breath and clenched his fists.
“I-I MISHEARD HIM!”
He lunged at Bowtie, trying to grab at his shirt collar to pull him against the bars.Â

(prev) Bowtie smirked at Rodney’s cowardly step back. It made him feel more powerful, more in control, and less like a fish in a barrel. Then Rodney started boosting about how Reverend Mike was on his side and his eye subtly widened in disbelief. After a stunned pause he blankly stared at him as he coldly said, “Rodney… Mike hates you. He’s always complaining about how annoying you are. The only reason he doesn’t say it to your face is because your one-sided affection is convenient.” Bowtie walked right to the cage bars with his classic smug grin. The one that made people want to punch him. “And he loves watching me bully you…”
Rodney’s eye widened as Bowtie tried to dismantle his perceived friendship with Mike. At his last jab, Rodney became as flustered as he was frustrated.
“I… That’s… You’re wrong! He thinks everyone’s annoying, especially you! If anything, it’s your..,” he made air quotations, “…affection… that’s one sided. We’ve gotten closer ever since you disappeared! And I can’t wait until I don’t gotta worry about you anymore!”
Rodney folded his arms and turned away in disgust. “Besides, has he even visited you? In jail or here? Have you had any visitors?”
@stuckinuniformdevelopment
(prev) When Rodney struck a nail into Bowtie’s biggest fear he flinched before standing up and approaching the bars. “I’ll win. And if you try to replace them you’ll be next.”
“Hah! In your dreams,” Rodney chuckled condescendingly. The only contradiction to his cocksure attitude was taking a small step back.
He shook his head. “You couldn’t hurt me, anyways. I’ve got Mike by my side!”
Even Amy could be heard scoffing from down the hall.Â
@stuckinuniformdevelopment
(prev) “Only a true idiot would break out when they could easily get their charges waived,” Theodore said with a dismissive wave. “And escape to where? Here?” He paused to gesture at the bars of his cell. “Because I don’t see a difference.”
Rodney rolled his eye at Bowtie’s responses. Then he folded his arms. “You’re not gonna be in here forever.”Â
Then with an evil grin he leaned forward. “Oh wait, you know you don’t have a chance, huh? Then sure, you’ve made your point.”
@stuckinuniformdevelopment
(prev) Theodore squinted as he closely examined Autumn’s body language. Was it just him or did she seem even more tense around him than last night? Dwelling on it wouldn’t help him. So he tried not to and got back to expressing his anguish while listening for anyone approaching him. Unfortunately, Rodney wouldn’t allow him to be alone with his thoughts. He tried to ignore him but he was sick of everyone calling him a coward. (Even if… there was some truth to it.) “I didn’t choose to get arrested, dumbass,” Theodore scoffed as he turned to a new page.
Rodney put his hands on his hips. “W-well, getting arrested isn’t a good look, either. Embarrassing! A good Glornist wouldn’t be caught dead getting arrested without, like… Did you even try to escape? Or want to? I heard from the big BP that he had to drag you back or something.”Â
@stuckinuniformdevelopment
(prev) Theodore had spent most of the day sleeping not only because he was especially depressed, but to experience as little time here as possible. Thank Glorn he was too much of a heavy sleeper for Amy to manage to wake him. Unfortunately that strategy could only last so long. By the time Autumn came he had been awake for hours and was currently drawing in his remaining notebook. When Autumn addressed Theodore he looked up while placing his arm over his sketches. “Yes please,” he said as he got up and walked to the cell door. Then he accepted his food with a muttered, unenthusiastic thanks.
Despite it getting covered by Theodore’s arm, Autumn intently eyed the notebook before he got up to accept his meal. She had gone through his confiscated notebooks last night, and the doodles in there were… quite an interesting view into his psyche. A lot of dead or dying Glornists graphically decorated the pages. Regardless, right now Autumn was here to do their job.
“Sure. I’ll be right back,” they said with a shallow smile before walking off. She glanced at Rodney as she walked past him and Amy. Autumn wasn’t supposed to leave any visitors in the dungeon without their supervision… But they really didn’t want Rodney buzzing around her. Besides, she would only be gone for three minutes tops. What could Rodney possibly do in that time? He was preoccupied with gassing up Amy, anyway. Autumn hurried off to fetch the water.
However, once Autumn was out of sight, Rodney’s attention faded from Amy, who was largely ignoring him, and he looked down the hall with curiosity. Bowtie had finally been captured… It was nice not having him around. Rodney could sit next to Mike during Slornday service without worry of Bowtie being a menace. But now he was behind bars. He couldn’t hurt Rodney. He decided to go enjoy the tables while they were turned.Â
Rodney strutted over to his cell. “Well well well, if it isn’t Bowtie!” he exclaimed with a cheeky grin. “It’s been a while. Where’ve you been cowering?”

It was lasagna night at the Glornch. Deacon Autumn ate their meal rather quickly before getting up for more. The more wasn’t for herself, though, it was for the prisoners she was assigned to take care of. Luckily, there was enough lasagna for the both of them. The deacon stepped away for a moment to retrieve paper plates and plastic spoons when Rodney came bounding over. He scooped a chunk of the pasta onto his plate.
“Rodney!” Autumn snapped when they turned back around. She snatched his plate from him and dumped it onto one of the paper plates. “The rest of this is for Amy and Theodore!”
Rodney deflated. “No seconds?”
A quiet fell upon the rest of the Glornists at the table as they turned in their chairs to face the two. They then went into an uproar complaining over no seconds, like the vultures they were. It was the exact reason why Autumn ate quickly.
“Don’t bark at me for taking the last of it!” Autumn pleaded with their fellow Glornists. “Bark at Miriam for never making enough!”
The Glornists did just that, turning their attention to the priestess, who in turn spat back excuses to defend herself. Amidst the arguing, Autumn went on to shovel the remaining lasagna onto the other paper plate.
“Wait, can I go with you and bring Amy’s food to her? I wanna visit!” Rodney offered. Autumn sighed, said, “sure,” and handed him a plate. The two slunk out, leaving behind the lively discussion about dinner portions that would inevitably turn rowdy in classic Glornch dinner fashion.Â
Once the two made it to the dungeon, Rodney excitedly hurried over to Amy’s cell and slid the plate of food through the slot under the bars. “Hiya Amy!! Here’s dinner for ya! How are ya! What are you up to? Training hard? Heh, as if you even need to! You got this in the bag! Can I get anything else for you?”
Amy was in the midst of doing push-ups but she stopped once the food was offered to her. She answered in vague, annoyed mumbles at Rodney's incessant questions as she tried to eat.Â
Meanwhile, Autumn offered Theodore’s plate to him. “Heeey, here’s some dinner for you. Do you need more water?”
