something i really think about a lot is the title of terror in resonance (in japanese: 残響のテロル) . < 残響 > is literally "reverberation" or "echo" and it's just so impactful to me. these two kids who went unheard for their entire life until they started committing acts of (domestic) terror, have now left their mark forever on history after that. like the echoes of what they've done and what's been done to them can never be erased... the echoes of what was done to them haunted them all the way until the end.... UGH even in the first episode when nine calls lisa to save her life and says "you have two choices: you die, or you become our accomplice" and she makes her life-altering decision of saying "i don't want to die!" he says "i can tell by the echo (反響 in this case) of your voice that you're in the emergency stairwell".... oh my goddd
