“Because I slept with my sisters boyfriend. My twin sister. That’s even more against the rules than if you slept with one of your brother’s lovers. Plus it turned my entire family against me. I should feel bad but I don’t because if they can’t get over themselves after all this time than we’re better off without them.” Brie took a deep breath and sighed, “I could try but I’m not sure I want to. I’m tired of always being the one to cave.”

Brie leaned over and kissed him on the cheek before squeezing his hand. “I know you are. It’s strange. Sometimes I feel guilty because I don’t regret what happened with us. I hate that for whatever reasons my sister is hurt and my family turned their backs on us but how can I regret something that gave me my daughter. Our daughter.” Tucking her hair behind her ear she shrugged. “I’ve always wanted this. A family sure but you. Since the day we met. I think that’s why Nikki went after you. She knew I wanted you and you were so stupid.” She laughed.

Brie sighed as she watched Birdie playing in the corner with her dolls. “I don’t like it anymore than you do. I would love to just beat her and get this whole thing over with. I’m not excusing what we did but she acts like I stole the love of her life from her.  She wasn’t exactly nice to you, half the time it seemed like she hated you. She for sure wasn’t in love. She’s just pissed I took something from her and now I’m happy and have a family and she’s still a bitter B.I.T.C.H.”

I got some of those digital frames we can upload pictures and videos on and a tablet for your parents so we can video chat while we’re in Japan.

I don’t think she likes us being away. Even if she had fun with your parents.

I’m back on full time mom duty. Birdie has been extra clingy since we got back. 

I still wake up early everyday but that’s because I’m so used to being up with Birdie.

No. Nikki and I ahve been fighting non stop and my moms still mad at me too.

Yeah. I told her just in case for like emergencies but I don’t know what my mom would think she’d ccomplish by telling Nikki where we are.
