last day of work haul: nice bar mitts for my upcoming winter commutes, xtr v brakeset (i also have the hubset 😝😝😝), and a moldy brooks c19 my boss gifted me :’) i am so ready for the harsh winters of the city

gift for my boss on my last day of work. he runs the bike nonprofit shop that got me into bikes (that i then worked at for a year). it’s a beautiful model: pay $30 and get a years access to a stand + all the tools to work on your bike + knowledgeable staff that help you out. i’ve seen the effect keeping the upfront cost so low has, so many customers are just so geeked to learn things for so cheap. immensely grateful for the grumpy men in the bike world that are crazy leftist and make me feel safe. (stickers on the cage to hold the screws in)

got an apartment but had to tell landlord my deadname (it’s legally changed). she was chill and pronounced my polishness correctly tho.
