( peter.
“HEY there, buddy,”
Peter, as was so common for him in these recent months, descended from the ceiling attached to his webbing. Foot reached out, stretched already tensed limbs, and lightly shoved the inquiring student AWAY from the Stark child. No good could come of this, he was sure.
“Pretty sure it’s time for y’to get goin’, don’t you think?”
Accompanied by an awkward chuckle, Peter looked to Vanessa with a shrug of his shoulders, swinging in mirror of a pendulum.
“AUDACITY of k i d s these days, huh?”
vanessa clenches their jaw as soon as the man descends from the ceiling, hands balled into fists at their sides and a F I R E in their eyes. they’ve gotten fed up with the questions, with everyone’s nosiness. they need them to STOP. even if they had to make them.
‘ -- yeah. he’s right. GET GOIN’. ’
they don’t yell. they don’t have to. the tone of vanessa’s voice is enough to leave them scurrying away.
‘ i hate them. please let me use my explosives next time. they’re built into these things. ’
