It’s pretty well known that GregF has said the ending of the initial Bionicle comic miniseries, with issue 3, was supposed to lead in to the Legend of Mata Nui PC game. Just how literally did he mean this, though? Was he broadly addressing how the comic doesn’t cover the end of the 2001 story like the game would have, or was there a more specific tie-in going on? I think there’s some evidence pointing to the latter possibility.
