I cosplayed Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender at Animecon Rotterdam last weekend! It’s my first cosplay in 2 years and also the first cosplay I’ve made mostly from scratch! I’m pretty proud of how it turned out to look exactly the way I wanted it to. Katara has always been my favorite character together with Sokka😊

I cosplayed Clementine’s first appearance in Season 3 at Dutch Comic Con 2017! Not only was it a lot of fun to make most of the cosplay happen in one week, but Telltale Games actually reposted my picture on their Instagram!

This fundraising project is the first one I’m working on as an intern.

It revolves around the Nepalese tradition called “Chaupadi”. The act of banishing women from houses and schools is still widely practiced despite the fact that the Supreme Nepalese Court deemed it to be illegal. Nepalese people lack the adequate knowledge and information regarding the need to maintain menstrual hygiene, which may lead to serious reproductive health issues. This distressing situation violates women’s rights. Girls are missing education regularly, are being subjected to rape, abductions, animal attacks and many more hazardous situations.

As this project progresses, the goal is to reach $5000 from 40 donors in the period from 10 September to 2 October! With only $10, you can provide two girls with 5 sanitary pads each so they can continue going to school during their period. The more you donate, the more we can provide the girls with not only sanitary pads, but education about their bodies as well!
