‏وفي الأخـــــــرة حَسنة

“I complained to Wakī’ about my poor memory.

فَأَرشَدَني إِلى تَركِ المَعاصي

He advised me to abandon sins,

وَأَخبَرَني بِأَنَّ العِلمَ نورٌ

and informed me that knowledge is a light,

وَنورُ اللَهِ لا يُهدى لِعاصي

“If you want to fix your heart,

or would like to see improvement in your child or friend, or anyone for that matter,

then direct them to places where the Qur’an is recited

and direct them to be in the company of the Qur’an.

Allaah will then cause them to become better,

regardless of whether they want to or not!”

"O you who has wasted the years of his life,

there is nothing that will amend those lost and wasted years

except for the night of Al Qadr,

for verily its value is equivalent to that of a lifetime."
