مَنْ حَاوَلَ أَمْراً بِمَعْصِيَةِ اللّهِ كانَ أَفْوَتُ لِما يَرجُو و اَسْرَعُ لِما يَحْذِرُ

Imam Husayn (a.s.) said:

One who looks to performing something through disobedience to God, will lose whatsoever he desires sooner ; and, whatsoever he fears , will happen to him sooner

When Habib heard that Syeda Zainabس had sent greetings to him, he screamed out in grief and anger. He threw his turban down onto the ground. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he spoke:

“What a sad day! What has happened to the household of Lady Fatimah? The princess! Granddaughter of the Holy prophet, the daughter of ‘Ali and Fatimah, is sending her greetings to an ordinary person like me! Yazid! You beast, you tyrant! What have you done to the household of Syeda Fatimahس?”

Ayatollah Bahjat (ra) was asked,

Is it possible for a sinful person to see Imam of his time Imam e Zaman (aj)

Ayatollah Bahjat (ra) answered,

“Shimr also saw the Imam of his time, but he could not recognise him...”

Sadly, it’s not our eyes that are blind, but our hearts ♥️
