Still refining my poetic scribbles

to have hate,

to have cravings for a love

without fear - a mistake.

   . . .

And it is too late!

It seems...

Realities became dreams.

But, to have had a chance!

Although, you missed the deal.

And, to be in love with what left of yourself;

the last thing left to steal.

   . . .

To have an empty heart

left just to feel

the wish to be full again.

To walk home under strain

while it gets harder to stay sane.

   . . .

With-out sharing this life

one’s desire cannot remain true!

A missing flame from the fire

Please.

Let this hurt end.

Let my soul return to ignorance.

Let this retched thing you called love extinguish.

Let my anguish cease.

Let my torment finish.

   . . .

I only want my memories of you to be gone.

All you did was destroy my capability to love.

You hurt me in ways I don't wish on my enemy.

And as for that fool who stole you away;

may he hurt less than I do if you leave him

for he knows not of the pain he has caused.

   . . .

But if you are happier with him then so be it.

May you be forever happy.

Just remember that I sacrified my heart for your joys.
