“Hey! Sign my petition please?~” Aurora smiled and she extended her clipboard out, “Student council is trying to convince the school to open up the empty dorm rooms in the University Commons to the students who lost their rooms in the fire!”

“I’ll sign whatever you got.“ Bill said taking her clipboard out of her hands and writing down his name.

Beverly felt at ease with Bill, she always had. Beverly liked the feeling of his arms wrapped around her and liked being pressed against him. Things were difficult right now, so being close to him felt like home. There was no other person she wanted to be with than Bill. She had been stubborn her entire life, trying to ignore her feelings for him when all she wanted was to be with him. Beverly was currently in bed with him, they hadn’t really been talking and she was worried about him. “Bill, are you okay?” She pressed a kiss to his neck. Beverly wanted to be there for him, she also wanted everything he could give her.

There was so much that had been happening these past few days and he was wondering if staying here was the best idea. Then he looked down at Bev, remembering why he wanted to stay so much in the first place. He was so happy now that she was laying in his arm and finally not in a friend way. Bill shivered a bit when she kissed his neck as he held her closer to his body. “In general no but right now I’m doing just fine.“ He said giving her a reassuring smile and rubbing the side of her face with her other hand before kissing her softly.

It took a momentous amount of courage for Greta to even look at Bill at times. She found that should her wondering eyes find him, they’d be so transfixed that all her secret devotions would be spilled. Said devotions, intense though they were, were kept clandestine beneath bitterness and venom at all times. Never were such resenting tones extended toward Bill; the stupid friends that fawned around him bore the brunt of her jealousy. She never got the chance to display the affection she desired to show him, and very seldom found the courage either. It was only in anonymity that she was capable of sending him her true feelings. She sent them via the excuse of Valentine’s Day, motivated by one of her fondest memories that was the card he gave to her many, many years ago. The card she still owned and kept in her underwear drawer, not so pristine as the day she received it but fraying in the corners. It was undoubtedly given to her out of pity, but Greta relished in the delusional hope that there might have been something deeper, more affectionate behind it. After all, there was just that in the card she has anonymously slid under Bills door in the early hours of the morning. When she saw him later on that day with the card in his hands, she donned every atom of composure to her posture, painted a casual smile on her red lips and sauntered. “What’s that you got there, Billy Boy?” There was flirtatious energy lingering in her voice, in her piercing eyes. She kept them on him, stone in expression, imploding inside. “Someone’s got a secret admirer, huh?”

Bill was having one hell of a week so when he had found the card addressed to him it put a smile on his lips. He didn’t have time to put it back in the apartment so he just took it to class with him. Taking out the card every once in awhile to examine it trying to figure out who it was from. It had taken his attention away from whatever work they had to do to who this mystery person could be. He had thought maybe Bev since she recently told him out she felt or Aurora since this seemed like something she would do out of the blue. Bill had even wondered if it was from one of the guys pulling a joke on him, he hoped it wasn’t that. A brief thought of this might be from someone new crossed his mind but he wasn’t sure. When the class was finally over he placed the card on top of his book making his way out of the classroom. On his way out Bill heard a familiar voice call his name he turned to the blonde. “Oh uh hey. Greta.“ He said trying to hide the card in his hands. It probably seemed stupid and childish to her he assumed that she was going to tease him. Greta had never been specifically mean to him but he knew about all the things she had done to his friends. Bill cleared his throat before speaking taking his time not to lose it and stutter. “Yeah someone left this really nice card for me.“

“You know some guy had the nerve to ask me if I was gay today. Like that was any of his business.”

“Did he have red hair and the most annoying voice that kind can’t tell if he’s faking it or not.“

Aurora liked the feeling of Bill gripping onto her. The security was nice and she felt safe with him. “Aw, you’re a sweetie! You don’t mean that though– What if i asked for the Millennium Falcon? Ya wouldn’t be able to score that!” she teased, bumping her shoulder into him. The brunette rest her head on his chest as he pulled her in, “I feel guilty for feeling sad though. You’re going through stuff too— everyone is. I’m sorry. Don’t worry about me! I’ll be okay.” She was lying, but she didn’t want her burdens to fall on Bill. He had his sister and friends to worry about. “You’re a good friend and I love you, Bill. Thank you for caring about me, but I think it’s my turn to make sure you’re okay. Do you have anything on your mind?”

“Oh I could definitely get you the Millennium Falcon- I mean it would be a toy replica but it would be the Millennium Falcon.“ He ran a hand through her hair looking at her face, he wish she didn’t have to act so strong with him. She’d been though a lot and all he wanted to do was be there for her.  “You shouldn’t feel guilty, it’s how you feel. You’re allowed to be sad. But I like worrying about you.” Bill carried her face in his hands as he looked at her. “I love you too, Aurora. Some stuff like who it was in the video but we’ll have to figure that out some other way.“
