“I don’t know if the dragon obsession is going to affect her pastry order.” Ginny replied. “Unless it’s a dragon-themed bakery. What an idea! Have you considered that as a career-path? You know, if the Ministry gig doesn’t working out.” She suggested, before eventually answering. “A profiterole maybe? Or a cream horn? Can’t go wrong with either of those, in my opinion.”

“Ginny you never know what the dragon obsession is going to affect. Trust me. I’ve been burned before. The other night Vic wouldn’t eat her pasta because it wasn’t dino shaped. We were having penne.” Bill laughed “I’m not sure my baking skills are good enough to open a specialised bakery. I didn’t get that part of mum’s genetics.” Bill slung an arm over his little sister. “Maybe I’ll get both. You want one? We can go find somewhere to sit and enjoy a pastry.”

Daphne gasped, a look of horor on her face. “You think I’m pregnant?” she asked tearing up a little. She’d been a bit under the weather lately and eaten more chocolate frogs than usual but she hadn’t expected herself to loose her figure so fast. This was horrible news, and another thing to add onto the long list of greviences against her in the past few weeks. 

Bill’s lighthearted smile immediately dropped and he looked to the woman next to him with a confused expression “Do I- No! No of course I don’t!” he said, unable to hold back an awkward laugh at the misunderstanding “No my wife is pregnant, nearly halfway through the pregnancy” he said to explain. 

“I can’t speak for the three year old, but I would go with the chocolate bats. I crave chocolate all the time and I’ve heard that’s quite common. Plus, the chocolate bats have wings so you could tell the three year old it’s a type of dragon and boom, problem solved.”

“Chocolate bats” Bill mused, looking them over. They did seem like a good option. “Oh you’re expecting? Congratulations, my wife craved chocolate the first time.” he chuckled. “A type of dragon. You know what, I think that might just work. Very clever thinking there, thank you.”

“That one.” Michael answered automatically, point to the stuffed pastry he got Lisa every time he came into the bakery. The one he was waiting to pick up right now. It was only after he spoke that he realized it was another fucking Weasley. Merlin, how many of them were there? He thought he had known. “Or you can always go with chocolate. You just have to make sure to bring a back up for when she changes her mind. And she will change her mind.”

Bill followed where Michael was pointing to the pastry that did look quite delicious. He let out a laugh and nodded “You’re probably spot on there. Maybe I’ll just get an assortment. No chance of choosing the wrong thing there” he chuckled, looking at the rest of the pastries in an attempt to decide what else he wanted to buy. “Or, well theres less of a chance. The three year old is currently quite picky, I’m sure the chocolate will land well with her as well.”

Fleur took a look around the room as she considered the suggestion that Bill had made. It never failed to amaze her how good of a father he was to their daughter. “I think that’s a perfect color. She’ll love it,” Fleur replied after a moment. Victoire was becoming more in tune with the things that she liked as she was growing. Being a princess was on the top of that list and Fleur chalked it up to the fairytales that they read together. Leaning into Bill, Fleur murmured, “Of course. We’ll have to spend a lot of time with her before and after the baby comes.”

“We can paint some clouds as well. I’m sure I can find a charm to make them move like real clouds too. Without the possibility of rain though, I don’t really want a flood inside” He laughed, pressing a kiss to the top of Fleur’s head. “I know. We can have scheduled Vic days” he suggested with a chuckle “Alright then. No more standing looking pretty. It’s time to paint” Bill leant down and opened the can of pale blue paint and poured it into the tray, grabbing a roller and handing it to Fleur before picking one up for himself.
