         What was a few scrapes and bruises in contrast          to enjoying a night under the stars?          Of course her cousin had also managed          to sneak in a bottle of liquor as well which          would make climbing back down          a possible nightmare but…

  RIKKU LAUGHS, full and loud in the quiet night air, and keeps climbing. “Patience is a virtue, Yunie! I promise it’ll be worth it!” Maybe she’s not entirely certain that it will be - she’s never actually taken the time to explore the high ground of Besaid - but that’s a very minor detail that she doesn’t bother to mention to her cousin. Instead, she spares a glance backward, a cheeky smile plastered to her face, and offers, “It can’t be too far now!”

By some miracle (not a miracle, she corrects herself internally, because she definitely knew where she was taking them the whole time), they find she was right - Rikku hauls herself up over the edge onto flatter terrain, teetering precariously on the precipice as she turns to offer her hand to Yuna.
