D&D:

Context: So this happened on the time skip our SWADE campaign got. So what happened in this is that my PC and this NPC are technically dating, the whole foundation of their relationship kinda hinges on the npc’s desire to protect my PC and my PC’s idolization to the NPC for being a “good person” since NPC is very self sacrificing but also extremely patient with her (my PC’s morality is based on the party’s actions since her morals and memories are wiped before the campaign took place. I play her like a sponge basically)

My PC is really naive and innocent but since they were manipulated when she woke up with 0 memories, she tries to play tough by acting nonchalant and okay with a lot of fucked up shit (she’s basically edgy) The NPC was kind to her and patient with her and it cracked her bravado.

So when everyone separated after our base got raided, he’s the one who went with her. At one point they visited a burial site, which escalated to a fight with a mafia with a lot of plot twist with the main one being the mafia boss being NPC’s brother. Prior to that reveal, some thugs made a threat against ny PC which NPC attacked them for but while he’s busy dealing with that my PC got shot multiple times cuz she wnts to leave, since theyre in hiding and rather not fight. (since their kind are hunted down by pretty much everyone)

My PC asked him to leave after he killed off 2 people but when he heard more inside bro went in and pretty much ignored her getting snipped. Some lore happened about him and his brother, which my PC let them have, but when theyre about to leave, the brother killed off the remaining men of his that threatened my PC, leading to this scene where the NPC gleefully told that to my PC. She was scared because it dawned on her that his promise to protect her is bullshit since he left her to get shot to kill people for her “honor” and those people died the same way when she’s not even in danger anymore.

It got worst cuz they left the mafia hideout, it got raided just when theyre about to turn to a different street because the NPC’s powers got detected, he was about to go back to help his brother but my PC fought him cuz it’s technically his fault for escalating the situation “in her name” when she wanted to leave.

(She’s extremely paranoid of getting found since she’s hunted down by 2 organizations + a cult)
