i just want to let you know right off the bat, the way you are going about this is absolutely shameful and completely uncalled for. i wish we could have blocked you sooner because now we ourselves are in legitimate danger.

i haven’t responded to some of these points because they are just so ridiculous and hard to say anything to. first of all, we’re not blaming our mental illness for this. if anything at several points throughout the discussion we have referenced our mental illness as reasons for being upset and walking away from the drama at some points. we’ve also referenced it when a literal 36 year old started yelling at us over the internet because when people do this, it tends to affects us in this way. we have also referenced it in general because at least half of these people trying to argue with us are just slinging slurs and attacking our mental illnesses & disorders. so we do have a right to be upset. just to let you know, that user is going to walk away fine from all this. he was going to from the beginning. we could actually die. that’s kind of how serious the situation is getting. if you’re going to continue to say we’re pulling the victim card with our mental illnesses or whatever just because we ourselves are getting concerned over our own state, fine. i mean it’s wrong, but fine.

regarding the livelihood of this artist being at stake. this callout post has only recently reached 1000 notes. posts on this website don’t make international news overnight, or like ever. this person’s going to be absolutely fine. before you tell me, “oh no! artists thrive off of exposure! you’re harming their well-being and means of production!” 1) 90% of the notes on this callout are all in support of the artist anyway. greening is going to be fine. 2) i don’t know why you’re so concerned about an artist that is drawing some really creepy stuff. and i don’t care what you say, we’ve revisited this point over and over and over, and if you disagree, you shouldn’t really be talking at all about this: aging up an underage character for sexual purposes is pedophilic. this is final. it has repercussions. it hurts children. a lot of people do agree with us on this, a large portion of which are people affected by this issue directly, even if they’re not here to say it. we didn’t draw this opinion out of thin air. we have been getting informed for quite a while, and this is where our stance on the issue comes from. 3) even if the post had blown up with tons of support there is literally still an audience for greening, as you can see, and besides possibly getting run off tumblr (like what’s happening to us, for daring to talk about this. ha ha.), which i don’t even think is likely, he would realistically still be fine. tumblr is not even the only avenue through which one can do commissions and make a living; it’s a big one, but there’s definitely enough support for pedophilic artists around the internet. by the way, corollary to #2 here: why in god’s name do you care about an artist this creepy so much. considering what we’re talking about, and the kinds of stuff this enables, this should be the least of your concerns. he should have to deal with the consequences, but instead, we’ve been dealing with people defending it and allowing it to happen.

Furthermore you continue to play the white-knight victim card, like what you’re doing is so flawless and noble and that you’re undeserving of the backlash. 

we aren’t attempting to say we are faultless or a voice of authority on the issue. we haven’t said that anywhere. but it doesn’t take a lot to recognize when something is harmful to children, and you don’t have to be a csa victim to draw attention to it for the safety of others. you just have to be responsible.

By even starting this, you are drowning out the voices of real victims of child abuse and pedophilia, detracting from the real attempts at calling out actual attackers and overall invalidating the experiences of these people because you felt mildly uncomfortable over art drawn of a fictional character. You’re spreading blatent misinformation with the hope that you can prey on young minds that are easily manipulated and sway them to your side, in attempt to incite Tumblr’s mob mentality and get a group of people that are ready to do your bidding based on your opinions. 

we have talked about this before. real csa victims have our back here and agree with us. a csa victim asked us to make the post. i will admit this is different than someone sexually assaulting a child. but this was not a callout to that caliber, anyway. it was a warning. we were encouraging people to simply block and avoid. as you can see there’s enough of an audience that isn’t the people that we were hoping would reblog it, so even with this small endeavor, greening would survive quite easily. additionally, absolutely everyone and their cousin caught up in this fight against us is just plain misguided, including you, and there is an irreconcilable difference of opinion on what pedophilia can entail.  we are going to continue believing what we have heard from trustworthy people about the issue because with where it’s coming from, we can deduce it has to be at least close to the truth. i’ll state it again. greening’s actions are creepy and a gateway to even worse shit, he has even tagged several pieces of the art suggestively (and even just plain nsfw)

you’re wrong about the intentions of this post. it was written after being informed on the general issue for quite a while and posted as little more than a warning to caution people who would listen against supporting this artist. if you’re upset at us for “trying to prey on young minds” you should really be upset at greening as well. after all he’s making nsfw, adult-oriented art of a kid’s cartoon and video game series without thinking about how this could affect the fans who are actually children, as well as targeting two underage characters for the majority of his fetish art. we know there is stuff worse than this on the internet. amazingly, we can be mad at multiple things.

this is the last argument i am willing to let us post on this blog. we may abandon it after this because the issue has gotten so far out of hand and you’re legitimately calling us out for something so ridiculous, opening the gates for people who are actually going to hurt us. i’m not going to disclose the course of action we plan to take after this. frankly, the only thing i’m interested in in keeping us alive and keeping you fucks from hurting us further.
