Reblogs were turned off and the post is so long I'm not going to waste time screenshotting it all, but the gist of the post is people arguing about "cultural appropriation" in fantasy. OP said non-Jews shouldn't use golems in their stories because golems are part of Jewish mythology, and others argued that all fantasy takes things from multiple cultural and historical sources and trying to police which ones should be written by which groups is stupid. Which is correct.
But I really, really wanted to tell OP that all modern fantasy is based on the work of a Christian Englishman of Germanic heritage, so, by her rules, unless you're a Christian and either English or German, you can no longer write fantasy because it's "cultural appropriation".
