Magda raised an eyebrow upon hearing it was Cassandra who had adopted the cat. “Interesting. I never took her for the pet keeping type.” In the seamstress’ mind, that was reserved for Daniela or the Countess herself. At the very least, she had never thought Cassandra to have a domestic housecoat. Hounds, hunting dogs, the odd wild animal…. but not this fluffy boy. “Is she the sort who is secretly sweet towards animals?”

She nodded at Croissant’s request. “Of course that can be made. In fact, I think making a little red mouse for you would be quite easy. Are there any other colors you would like?”

“But those universities sounds wonderful. I like learning new thinks. Maybe is there a university that teaches you how to be a better hunter maybe? I would go there!“he said, enthusiastic about the possibility.

“Universities are..” she paused, thinking. “It was enjoyable in terms of education and experiences. In terms of the human aspect, though? I could have done without some of the people. You would think a school that enrolled probably over nineteen thousand people, there wouldn’t be so many cliques, or you’d be able to find your own group and be at home. I clearly picked the wrong people. That being said, I would love to attend a school that specialized in unusual subjects like hunting. If I find one, I’ll let you know.”

Then he turned around offering his soft belly. “You are always welcome to use my anti stress fur. And my ears and chin and…” he stopped mid sentence, because his cat brain got error when the Seamstresses found THE spot just under his front legs. He just melted.

For a moment, Magda worried over Croissant stopping mid-sentence. But upon seeing and feeling his limpness, she just smiled and redoubled her efforts and softly cooed. “You are so cute…”

"Unfortunately I am not famous. I have few fans in the village, but that's mostly it. But don't worry! We can make our carrier together. 'Seamstresses and the orange cat' how does that sound?"

how can I feel whole when I’m not seeing 

It didn’t go as Bela had planned. Her two sisters were at each other’s throats after only a few minutes. Cassandra could not resist to tease Daniela. ☃️ Donna’s efforts were not in vain, but it is questionable whether Daniela could really enjoy the snow. We will see… (Donna: 🥲)

For whoever is first

The tooth and claw

It was snowing, but as the snow touched the ground it instantly melted. Bleh, what a slush. Cold and wet. Two thinks that cats really do not like.

Ser Croissant was sitting on wooden beam sticking from side of the moss covered roof. Snowflakes were sticking to his fur, making him look like scary gargoyle.

The house it self was quite. Unsurprisingly, for it was dead of night. Only sounds that pierced the silence were shrieks and loud laughter coming from tavern in middle of the village.

The orange cat was sitting still, observing. Few mouses were running through dirty streets. One even nibbled on drunken man's finger. It only runned away when he flinched his hand away, snored and turned to his other side. Hmm, humans can be very disturbing sometimes.

But what's this? A Figure. Dark cloak obscuring them. Hmm, fascinating.

The shadows were wonderful hide...Next to the fact he was a cat. Not many people see cats as a threat.

They now twice made a round around the village and three time stopped at the same spot stand and start ... brooding?

When they stopped in that spot for a fourth time, they stayed there for long. When Croissant got closer he heard humming. The Cat looked around, curious from where the sounds comes from. After some listening it would seem that this wanderer is musically talented.

Hmm, it would seem that they stopped for good. Now standing in rubble of old house. Sight quite common in village, after so many lycan raids, there were plenty of destroyed or empty houses.

He made 'MrmH' sound. Shaking the snow away. Well there goes my element of surprise...

Now Croissant had to count on his best trick. Otherwise this might go downhill very quickly.

She then picked him up and held him close "be careful out here little guy...lycans will eat you up" she says softly as she pats his head then sets him down

Croissant jumped down from the woman's arms. Right in that moment single lycan peeked from behind the corner.

The cat hissed. Then slouched his back up and his fur made him bigger.

As maine coon he was, for cat, of formidable size. The lycan stopped dead in his tracks, but didn't seem to back away.

That's it, now I am angry!

Ser Croissant hissed and started his battle dance. While yelling and screaming he danced his way towards the lycan. When he didn't back away and even started growling, that was for Croissant last drop!

The cat attacked. He jumped on the lycan and started biting, clawing and tearing everything that got under his paws.

Lycan yelped and started squeaking like kicked dog. While, unsuccessfully, trying get the cat down it fell down in to the slush. Ser Croissant jumped off, not to get wet. Still hissing he corned the lycan.

Rogue picked the cat up and walked through the village. Rogue finally to to her house and set him down "stay here...i'll be right back kitty" she pats his head then closes the door, and walks into the house.

He watched the interaction between the two. A family perhaps?

But wait, hang on. Did the scared woman knew that he had powers? Or was she talking to the girl.

"Tatiana?" the little girl asked, Rogue, looked at her "yea?" she asked "I want a pretty kitty like this..." she whined, Rogue looked at him then at her sister "if your good" she teased
