THE PLOT:

Doctor and Master.

Ten and Harry, to be precise.

It had started when they’d visited a planet in the aftermath of a war. His partner had seen the destruction and the pain. He’d seen the helpers and the hope.

Nothing new.

But that time, they’d talked about it. His partner thought that humans were, by nature, destructive and violent. But he was wrong. Humanity was a social species, and they had survived and thrived because they cooperated, because they helped each other.

His partner was wrong. But…how to prove it? How to show him the real human nature, the love and kindness that was always there, even in the biggest tragedies? A bet. He’d never been able to resist it. For this to prove something, they both had agreed on this, participants should be picked randomly. Put them together, give them some challenges, and see if they destroyed each other or if they cooperated.

Easy.

Of course, his partner would cheat, and pick the participants, but it didn’t matter. He was right, and cheating that way would just mean that when he won, it would mean more. And he’d win…well, what they’d bet…..was private. But he was going to win, because he was right.

How You Arrive:

You wake up. Just like any other time.

Only problem is, you may have been ...flying a plane, driving a car, been in the middle of a fistfight or making love to your significant other - or whoever. It could happen literally out of any time and place and situation.

Why it is happens, how it happens, is a mystery the great Portal or Glitch keeps close to itself. We don't know. You won't know, at least not yet. But yes, you wake up. You're in a bedroom, looks like ... you slowly, or perhaps not so slowly, realize you aren't where you ought to be, and something BIG has happened to you and changed things ...It's not familiar. Not even close. It's generic, a motel perhaps? Bed, dresser. A door .. presumably out. Are there others here? If you had any items on you, weapons, anything not a permanent part of your body, it isn't with you. Clothes, only. Shoes, too if you had them on ..

Can you hear anyone?

Beautiful but boring paintings adorn the walls. There's a window, but you can already tell the 'outside' is either fake, or something is off. It just looks ..wrong.

It's not a bad room, but this isn't right! You get up, and from there ... it's up to you. You may notice all you have on you is the clothes on your back ...no objects at all ...And yes, the door will open.

& Ik the pandemic has been hard on all of us & somehow the post + thing is hated everywhere on here but if I use it please know that it is specifically for this purpose & the kittens bc I do want to eventually run a self sufficient shelter that runs by what we sell/donations & adoption fees.

i don’t want any of the money for anything else at all, I genuenly want to help any and all strays I ever see.

i need to come up with a more structured plan but I’m I need to take into consideration maybe having full time vets at hand/ partner with veterinaries, food, toys, tons of litter & litter boxes.

so all of it in the end will be costly but so worth it if little lives can be safe.

so please stay posted on how the project goes forward.
