Wielder of the Soultaker

A part of her wants to pass out and accept her fate. The other doesn’t want to face the idea of dying so easily in this abomination’s hands. The thought of innocent people, her friends, and teammates dying because of some delusional robot chasing a fairy tale feeds her determination.

"Well you’re not.. I was going easy on you..Keep punching me or blasting me with your eye-beam if you wish. I will never give you the opportunity to destroy this world."

He raised the arm to her, the red end of the blaster glowing brighter when it pointed at her. “You’re an insignificant piece of trash on an imperfect dustball floating through a cosmic garden. I’ll be sure to make this quick.”

There’s a flash in his head though, a ghost of a memory of a dead man, holding the woman he loved close as she died. He wondered who she was and why he saw her.. why it felt important.

Tatsu swings her Soultaker on against a large cylinder, causing gasoline to burst out. As dark liquid spills all over the floor, she forces herself to run to the powerhouse android with all her might.

"Accept your fate and it will be quick, continue to resist and I won’t be as merciful on you."

He hovers off the ground, his bright red cape billowing behind him, his arms at his sides with his fists clenched tightly.  Narrowing his eyes further, his features were brought into a hateful scowl.

She grits her teeth, feeling the blood run down her face. The reality of the situation is that she doesn’t have much time left. And since she knows she’s going to fight until her last breath, she needs to find something to help her.

Then something catches her eye, but she doesn’t stare at it for too long. Instead she glares up at the malicious cyborg.
