I got around to painting new girl (still nameless) a new face-up. In tone with her white wig this one’s much lighter than the previous one. Again not sure if this is a keeper - I think I ventured a little too far into the albino-ish aesthetic here. It is so light it clashed with her old wig, we’ll be giving this one a try. It’s a very light blonde and kinda helps against her looking too washed out.

What do you think?

Also TFW you have dozens of eyes but still never the exact ones you need. I tried linen and light blue here, cause her old eyes were too dark. I like the blue better, my camera adjusts to a slightly cooler color with them. These are cheap glass but they give a good feel of what suits her. Guess I’ll be watching out for nice cool blue urethanes now.

Didn’t exactly finish it entirely, the sewing slots in the vertical tape part takes a lot longer than I had anticipated and settled for only marking where the slots are to be with pins in the last 7 of them. Will finish them tomorrow after a good nights sleep and attach them to the bag and pull the hoops through the slots and then be able showing off this gorgeous miniaturized elliptical cage crinoline.

I finally got around to sewing a wa lolita outfit. I’ve been wanting to do so for some time but never had inspiration, until now. Yes, this is inspired by a pinterest draft, I just love the apple green ;)

The green kimono top is chiffon and actually reaches about the length of the orange flowers on the skirt. Here it is properly tucked kimono style. The bottom kimono and skirt are cotton. Im thinking about embellishing even more but I cannot come up with any ideas atm.

Im bad with calculating how much fabric I need, now I have enough fabric left over I could probably make 2-3 more sets. Im not usually selling my stuff, but if anyone’s interested just shoot me a message, price is open for negotiation.

Next BJD project might be a modding project. Ive been wanting to do an extra eyes mod forever and I have 2 heads lying around Im not using anyway. I could try it out on the 1st (junk) head and if I like the outcome enough I could do the 2nd (non-junk) head. I saw a similar mod an a DZ Mo I believe, so I have a good idea how it could look. But since it would be my first major mod Im nervous. Adding 1 eye would be fine, but I want 3 extra eyes ^__^° Not sure yet :/

Project “Ottoman inspired outfit” is finished

I dont have a good full picture of it yet, though. The ones I took today were too crappy :/ So have a close up of Jinní wearing it.

The outfit now consists of 6 pieces:

1 underpants, 1 undershirt, 1 bottom skirt, 1 top skirt, 1 bottom jacket and 1 top jacket.
