Beth’s breathing hitched as tears rolled down her stained, bloodied cheeks. But she nodded her head quickly at everything Negan was saying. She knew she had to push through and get over it. There wasn’t time to grieve the dead in this world when they had already overrun it. She knew that. Even if it hurt.

The young woman quickly looked around. She wiped at her face as she tried to calm down. Beth didn’t wanna cry anymore, especially not in front of Negan. She took a few steps back, looking back at the farmhouse. Only a handful of the dead remained. Negan was right, it wasn’t super close to sunset yet, they still had time.

Beth looked back at Negan. She tried to speak as clearly as she could between her sniffles, “D-Do- Do you have o-other people? A c-camp..?”

He couldn't blame her for breaking down - but he didn't dare express it. It could be seen as weakness - and he didn't need his men to think that. He nevertheless gave her nod, motioning for her to come closer. "Come on, lil' missy.. we should be able to goddamn clear this."

He looked elsewhere for a moment as she inquired just that, smirking. "Just me and two other men. But rest assured... they'll fall in line with I have to say, so you should be fuckin' safe with them around. Hell, I'm sure there's plenty of fuckin' rooms." Especially if something had happened not too long ago...

He spun around and crushed another head in, before spinning back around and leaning back.

"I'm Negan, by the fuckin' way."

Beth wiped at her face again, “… There is…” There were quite a few rooms in the farmhouse, all empty now of course. A few guests for the night or two wouldn’t hurt. She looked at Negan’s men for a moment, unsure of them. She didn’t like the look of them but they had saved her…

She hesitantly stepped closer to the man and her boot stepped into the splattered remains of a walker with a sticky wet sounding squish. Beth gagged but ignored it. “Mr. Negan, I, um, w-we should be able to…” The blonde pointed towards the house.

Beth started to make her way towards the farmhouse, stepping over the gored remains. She couldn’t stand the smell of it any longer.

“I miss those frosted animal crackers…”

-🪞 how do they feel about their own appearance; are they vain, shy, self loathing, etc.?

At first, Beth was very reserved when it came to her own appearance. She never truly considered herself as pretty as the other girls she had gone to school with, or as pretty as her big sister Maggie or her mother.

Beth always had specific complaints when it came to her own appearance, but she didn’t consider herself ugly, she just thought of herself as not pretty enough. She didn’t like her lips or her eyebrows or her own body in general. Although, as she got older, and after the world seemed to end, most of those thoughts didn’t seem to matter anymore at all.

Now Beth doesn’t care about her looks as much as she would before. She doesn’t stay awake at night thinking about herself in that way. She still tries her best to make her outfits and hair cute, even in a world full of the dead.
