"What more could you ask for, Schuester? I'm giving you a free job without the hassle of an interview. Girls your age would fall all over that handsome mug, just for a chance to get in, though I'd hope you have more common sense."

“For a second there, I almost thought you cared but to answer your question, I was busy. Imagine that. Anyways, I’m pretty sure you’re looking at your new roommate. I need a place to stay, now that I’ve moved out of my parents’ and you’re the perfect candidate.”

"Yeah, well, you're going to have to earn your keep, Schuester. I don't give out free rides. I could always use more bouncers at the bar. I'll promote you to bartender, once you're of legal age but until then, you can take the heat for stopping rowdy patrons by any means necessary."

"As a matter of fact, you can tell me why the hell you didn't call me to tell me you were coming back to Lima. You stopped writing and I was left to wonder if you were dead or alive."

“But, I mean, you didn’t really have to punch her. Did you?”

"You're right. Next time somebody gets drunk, starts shit in my bar and won't listen to reason, I won't do a damned thing and I'll lose all of my patrons, just so people like you don't have something to bitch about."

“Well what exactly did she… or he… do to make you start punching?”

"She started shit in my bar. If the punch to the throat didn't work, I was going to shoot her with rock salt. It wouldn't kill her but it'd hurt like Hell."
